Hello,

how about giving mining ships a little bonus to survey scanner range.

the thing is when a strip miner has cycled and there are 1 unit ore left in the roid the cycle runs another full cycle for this one unit.
so survey scanning is the way to prevent that, but
actual u can mine the roid on a ~29km range but only can look around ~22km what is in the roid (on a mining ship)

Mining Barge
7,5% to survey scanner range per skill level

should do it

I rather would prefer when Orcas could more easely mark roids for their fleet members and push Gang Mining instead of pushing Solo Mining.

Why not have both? Survey scanners could use some more utility...

There are a few ideas in that thread on survey scanner changes. Instead of giving the mining barge a bonus to range, it would just be easier to buff the base range on the survey scanners themselves. Would take a bit less programming since you would just have to change an already existing value, and not have to add a new variable and whatnot.

Lowering the average to make you look better since 2012.
