It's not just corp bios — it's all bios¹.

It's because they've… ehm… somewhat naïvely, let's say, converted the in-game size to HTML size units. So an in-game text that (like in this case) has been set to size 12 — i.e. 12pt high capital letters — is given a size=12 font attribute in EVE Gate.

The problem is that HTML size units are quite different. They range from 1 (really small) to 7 (really large), with 3 being the "normal" size. Assigning a value of 12 to this size means that you're going 5 steps out of bounds beyond the “really large” step. Also, the size attribute they're using has been deprecated since roughly forever and shouldn't be used — they should have gone for a style attribute instead, with the size being specified in points or pixels.

¹ edit: actually, scratch that. It's not all bios. If I were to guess, it's probably only bios where people have used the size selector to fiddle around with the text — if you've entered stuff and not modified it in any way, it could possibly show up as normal.

I got the impression from someone else in the thread that all the bios were like that now, but I checked my corp bio and it seems fine. In that case I'm afraid I've no idea what the problem is.
