I know you can warp to fw missions just using your overview, but are the missions gated? In other words can u get a cloaky tengu within scram range without the SB knowing?

The missions are gated, so you'll be visible for a small amount of time on the gate. Then, it will be up to how much attention the missionrunner is paying to his dscan.

The possible flaw in your plan is that the bomber will be running an afterburner, so good luck sneaking up on it cloaked in a cluttered environment.

Some missions are gated; others aren't. I know that some Level-4 hauler-killer missions aren't gated.

i figured it out, it's just beacons

I've also figured out its near impossible to do :(
you warp to 0 on the accel gate no matter what, then you warp to 0 at a beacon inside of the mission. Both of these screw up your cloak.

the mission runner would have to be afk to not see you coming


any mission runner gankers wanna share some tips?

Do you mean missions or plexes (ie novice, small, medium etc)? You can right-click the beacon in the overview and Warp To at a selected range.

missions, unfortunately warping to range doesnt work, you warp to 0 no matter what

They work like any other gated place in EVE, the only advantage/disadvantage is that beacon is visible and warpable in overwiew, so don'ìt need to scan. Also, the mission target is generally closer to the warp in in respect of normal missions and plexes.

As far as I know there's only one mission called "rodiest rage" (you see the mission name in overwiew) not gated.

it does work. if you have never opened the mission you can warp to it (will warp to 0) but cancel warp then warp at whatever range you want

Warp cloaked to the beacon at 20km.

This will land you within 3-7km from the actual gate and won't decloak you. Slow boat to the gate and as soon as you get near 2.5km spam warp......you will then be decloaked by the gate but will be entering warp. Once in warp cloak up again minimising your time to be scanned.

When you land you land within a 2.5km radius of the beacon. This is where luck gets involved. You may land at the edge of thatradius and not be decloaked by the beacon. if you are burn away from it and cloak.

I've chased many mission runners in a SB and gotten into the mission just fine. Actually catching them once in however is a lot more difficult as they generally are AB fit and the mission sites are often cluttered.
