The day you demonstrate your expertise of what can be considered mature behaviour ON A VIDEOGAME is the day your opinion will matter.

For the record, you also mistyped "miss typed", and I only wardec for ***** and giggles, not personal problems. I have other methods of dealing with those.

And yes, I'm not ashamed to admit that this is a personal problem, one that I've had with a thousand other people that have treated me like trash all my life. For once, I have the power to do something about it without creating a real-world kerfuffle, and I won't be satisfied until I've killed him a few times IN GAME or received a sincere apology. Then, I'll get over it.

Because eve is full of sad, twisted people who take the game too seriously and will try harass, troll people on the forums and in game and make their gaming life miserable to a point they want to quit.

Sadly this is what the game breeds because of its nature, some people don't know when reality starts and fantasy end.

It would be interesting now people are actually being prosecuted for trolling if somone in eve got done or CCP in fact as they seem to openly allow it, which is pretty disgusting if yo ask me.

I like to make ridiculous looking characters and show them off by posting on the forums for a few months at a time with them. Plus, it seems alt posting makes a lot of people cry around here. So I'll continue doing so just for that alone.

I think when people talk about reputation it's more like "I don't want to **** off somebody on the forum and have them stalking me in the game" rather than "zomg I am going to work my way up in this corp until I run it or make my own and take over all of null!"

Me too! For me Eve Gate works like my characters Gmail, Facebook + Twitter. Sometimes it works the other way around, I do want my personal views to affect my corporation and alliance. I take some care into formulating my posts because of that. It helps recruitment efforts to be up front about yourself in public places like this.
