A Much needed change to the Corporate Manufacture Interface.

Ok, this is something that I have noticed for a while and I think it could be an easy-ish fix. With the required rites to access and use corporation blueprints the Risk/Gain is very off balanced. I understand that in this game there should always be a Risk/Gain balance that only makes sense. However the current set up for Corporation manufacturing is very risky with little gain. Under the current setup you have to give someone the “Factory Manager”, rite to even use blueprints, factories, or research assets from a corp. hanger of any kind. This gives that person the ability to literally cancel any job that is being done by anyone in the corporation destroying any materials involved in this process. Further there is no real way to see who has done this that I have found. This is great for demoralizing and creating distrust in an Indy corp. but this goes too far in the risk side. In essence it has most corps with blueprints having only a small band of folks who have access to the blueprints. And this tends to shut out new industry members learning the ropes. What I would like to suggest is an additional Corp Role targeted just for users of corp. assets that add some level of protection for the corp. but does not make it completely safe. What I would like to see is a role like “Factory Operator” that allows a member to use the factories and assets but only allows them to cancel and deliver jobs that they have started. This makes an intermediate level before “Factory Manager” so someone can still work their way up to get that level of access to cause harm and drama.

Please bump the hell out of this 

The risk to bpo's can already be eliminated by locking them - but i agree about the opportunities to create havoc by cancelling jobs

Better imo, and less complicated (?), would be to only allow a director or ceo to cancel a job set up by someone else

But I'm going to bump it :)

EDIT

Thinking a bit further, cancelling a job isn't something that you'd normally want to do and I can only think of a couple of scenarios. So yes. make it impossible for just anybody to cancel any Corp job, even one that they set up.
If it comes to roles though make it director or ceo only - if your corp can't trust them you're f****d anyway.

I mostly agree with this.

It could be added as a separate more specific role for cancellation of jobs. Leave the cancellation roles to one person and if any member wants to cancel that specific job they have to notify the person with the role.

This is why I manufacture in a 1 man corp. I would even go further to say the owner of the BPO, not the director, unless it is a corp BPO
