Add more siege modules to the marauder

Alright so marauders are getting a tank siege module, which in all honesty is awesome.

Ya know what the most awesome thing about it is? It can transform.
Ya know what would be more awesome? More transformations.

Hyper Mode
Increases tracking by 25%
Increases base speed by 100%
Reduces mass by 50%
Reduces resists across the board by 30%

To be fair I have no idea how to make that balanced, JUST MAKE THEM FAST.
Imagine for a moment if you will, a vargur folding it's sails, and elongating into something that looks like a stabber.
A kronos, with its two front legs moving apart, opening up to reveal two big engines capable of bending time and space itself to bring freedom on its foes with sweet sweet antimatter.

Blitz Mode

Increases damage by 50%
Makes you immobile and immune to ewar/whatnot

Ya know what, JUST MAKE IT AWESOME CCP. I trust you guys to not bung it up.


Marauders in there standard vanilla mode are fairly redundant, they all compete directly in one way or another with a faction battleship that does the same job, and we don't need two ships that do mostly the same thing. On top of that people have been asking for years for t3 battleships, which probably wont be even considered till 2018 at the current rate.

All of you must agree, transforming is awesome, therefore fun, therefore a bawlin idea, therefore it is CCP's responsibility to give us this.

Make it so.


P.S let us fit more than one mode per ship at a time.

Without being so... straightforward in the approach (a +50% damage bonus alone for a whole module ? :D), a module for POS shooting would be nice.

Since everyone is talking minidreads how is this

sub-capital siege overclocker:
Base damage increased to 300%
Ship velocity decreased to 0
Mass increased x10
Ship resists + 10% across the board
Reps 50% faster, Reps 100% as much
Sig radius reduced by 25%
Ship sensor strength now set to 60 -- jammable but difficult
Tracking +30%
Optimal range/falloff - 30% each
Missile flight time - 60%, velocity + 30%
Scan res +300%

Based off someones suggestion in the main thread: shorter ranged, much better damage and application. Otherwise same as tanking module.

I agree this would be a great idea, as it gives the fabled T3 people want in a manner that is much easier to deal with.
Especially as you could make say a super glass cannon (cruiser speed BS with half the tank and nerfs to local reps but say triple damage) then add a super tank but gank coster weighted to allow indefinite holding of multiple targets in range.
Well until they just drift/burn off from your pillar self

Consider if you could fit some of these mods all at the same time, leave bastion, go at hyper speed and chase Cynabals, go into bastion when you get tackled, etc.

Im still sticking with my suggestion of them getting a melee module. Allow them to use tractor beams on enemy ships. A bonus to web range, a decrease to wep range, but an increase to tracking. Balanced right? Who cares! Fun. If they did that, it would ruin all other ships for me. I'd only be able to fly punchy marauders.

zomg, why not roll all T2 battleships into one and give them a black ops siege module to let them jump about the place, fly cloaked.

Actually, why not just strap a Proteus to them? Adds 280K EHP, 800 DPS and stupid point range, cruiser sig radius, 2200m/s speed.

All this QQ about how OP Marauders are going to be is faff compared to what the medium rail buff has done to the Proteus.
