Show Info -- why did you align stats all the way right??

Why the change the Show info stats to align right for all values???

This not only looks awful but means large windows are now useless -- you have to scan from one end of the screen back to the other to see what matches up.

Stuff as simple "how much base cap does it take to activate" is no longer immediately obvious.

Someone please tell me I'm the only one seeing this and it's a localized bug. That this isn't another 'change for the better' that everyone, including new pilots, has to deal with. It's god awful to look at. Looking at stats on a POS tower makes me want to log out.

It was on the test server.
It was in the Dev Blog.
It was in the patch notes.

The time to complain about changes isn't usually after it hits the live server.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

You are, but it's not a bug.

You have made karkur angry. I don't know how, but now you are paying for it.

No one can look at a two column excell spreadsheet and see variables on the left side of the screen, values on the far right and think that "Yeah.. this looks good." No one.

I can honestly say this is the game breaking mechanic that made me stop recommending EVE to my friends. For nearly 10 years I've encouraged people to give EVE a try. I wouldn't want new pilots seeing the GUI with show info as it currently stands -- it will send them screaming back to the MMO the pulled themselves out of.

I am more mad that I have so many new categories of skills in my skill queue,,,yet they left some of the categories alone and they are too general.
I mean if we're breaking up so much why not do it to everything

Good thing this isn't an Excel spreadsheet.

While people tend to overreact to UI changes, I'm really tired of seeing this bullshit response.

Lots of people aren't inclined to provide Eve a free testing staff and they shouldn't be expected to. When software changes go into production is the expected time for customers to complain.

Something tells me if your friends won't play a game over a tiny UI element I wouldn't want to play with them anyway.

r-click -> Show Info, EVE Online.

---------------------------------------------------------
| Description | Attributes | Prerequites |

EVE is ███████████████████████████████████████████████████████ the best 4x MMO around.

EVE will never win a ████████████████████████████████████████ "best looking game UI evah!" award.

This is ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ given.

These kind of changes make me think that the DEVs don't actually play the game they code. Btw - I originally tried spacing this out manually, but the DEV in charge of the forum code removes all of those nasty "extra spaces" to prevent the kind of formating I had to duplicate above.

I wonder why they would do that?

Huh, I was thinking someone was different while looking up ships.

The changes went into production when they hit the test server, and you're right, that's when you should have complained. If you aren't inclined to help test out changes, you lose any high ground to complain about them.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Confirming that the test server is really the production server and users have no right to comment on releases, herp derp

Your Likes received says 8. You've only received 8 likes in 10 years? That's less than 1 like per year.

Anyway, I find the new layout to be more readable.

I like the new attributes tab, but something i really, REALLY, *R-E-A-L-L-Y* hate about this game is how the DEV don't give a **** about customization like if they didn't care at all about their players. How hard is it to make a change to the UI, but let the players (you know...US) choose if they want the new change or keep the old one? How hard was it for CCP to let players choose to keep the undock button at the same old place instead of moving it and giving a finger to their players because, hey, that's our game and we don't give a **** about what you want?

likes havent been around, nor have these particular eve forums, for 10 years. I dont even think its 2. I dont remember but its not that old.

Also, I agree with the OP. Unlike the op though, I bitched about it before they made the change. Still bitching about it now. Its just plain dumb. With a big monitor its just plain silly.

Oh wait lemme just shrink my info window so I can match the numbers more efficiently, there we go. Come on ccp, what were you smoking?

People DID complain about it when it was on the test server.

They got ignored. Not even acknowledged and dismissed. Completely ignored.
