Launcher won't apply patch it downloaded.

Imidiate login didn't work either.

Running the repair.exe now did the trick, finally logged on !

Failed again.

I am very disappointed scanning the forums at the total lack of acknowledgement of this problem, mentioned on twitter, facebook and eve forums.

Tried 3 times, thats all the bandwidth I can afford to waste. So, thanks again, until next months limit that's 3 accounts I can't play. Of course as I can't play them I won't be able to pay their plexes so they will expire...

Nothing like wasting 3 month subs and half a months bandwidth without any acknowledgement of a fault to put you off altogether...

It could be helpfull for someone

I'm stuck at 2/4 and tried following:
1. Close launcher
2. Run exe.exe file from client bin directory. It will download additional 6mb of some patch and will close
3. Small patch will been applied and launcher will be started
4. In my case this time launcher applied the big patch without any problems

hope, this info will help someone

I am stuck at 3/4 in the launcher update, i restarted the pc, launche the eve.exe and it detected that the patch was already downloaded, it then closes and goes to the eve online update setup window wich then it starts to download a 1mb file but then it get stuck at 2% and does nothing else. Please i despertly need to finish this process i been trying for the past 4 hours and to my surprise no word from the game developers or masters.

This happened to me once, relaunched through steam, redownloaded patch and worked. BTW have anyone tried using the update exe itself rather than downloading patch again?

Actually worked for me, thanks a lot! Eve.exe btw not exe.exe if anyone couldn't figure that out on their own.

It installed the patch again but 3/4 is working now

Can anyone tell me the location of the patch where the launcher puts it? I downloaded the patch manually and want to try the launcher closing thing.

Nothing is woring in my case, the repair tool just hangs after a few seconds into the repair process, the lancher fails to update after numerous dls. Is there someone there that actually cares about paying customers problems?

Probably different for everyone but for me first time it got to 3/4 0% it just hung there indefinitely - I went away made dinner, etc. came back almost an hour later was still at that point but after restarting and downloading the update again (yay for 80Mbit/s broadband) the second time it only hung at 3/4 0% for about 5 minutes before suddenly jumping into life for no apparent reason.

I had the same issue and tried everything I found in about 5 other forum threads, but nothing worked. I ended up installing EVE from scratch and then it worked. However, I have now lost all my window settings, market favorites, etc...

At least you got it to work joseph. I can't try again (after 3 attempts at patching and a failed repair on the 1st of 3 clients all of which seemed to be trying to download the same data) until I can get my pc to a friends house, or get my new data allocation by which time my accounts will be expiring anyway. 3 wasted plexes right there. And yes, that does **** me off as a customer.

FWIW my neighbour 2 doors away from me in exactly the same situation still hasn't had any answer to his petition, and I see there is still no response to the patch issues after 24 hours despite other concerns being addressed in the same thread.

Shocking.

Incredibly disappointed as I love this game. I will sell off in game assets and try to play again next month if I can, but ccp can consider this the last time they'll get my money if this is the level of support they consider appropriate.
