Is rep harder to grind for sec agents once you've lost it?
I was getting about .1 from level 3 sec missions for every 1-3 missions I was doing for amarr navy. I got enough standing to do level 4's and tried them too soon, had to decline 2 after they were accepted and lost about 2.0 standing. Now I've trained up a bit and am ready to give them another shot but after about 10 level 3 missions, my rep hasn't increased at all. I tried a storyline that came up to see if that would help and I lost .1 lol. I may go grab the social skills needed for faster increases. Does this sound right, no gains in 10+ missions?

Edit: I just rechecked standing, I did not actually lose .1 from the stroyline, I was looking at the wrong agent.

Ok I'll bite.

#1. No, all standings are calculated the same pre-lvl 4 or post, it's always based on the difference between your standing and a + or - 10.0 (whatever way standing is changing) with the agent/corp/faction

#2.Storyline missions effect Faction standings, look for that bump in Amarr Empire

#3. Yes, train the Social, or whatever they got renamed to, skills, to lvl 4 at least, faster grind, better payouts.

Also confirm your standings by doing a Show Info on the NPC corp. The NPC corp's info updates with each request, the Character Sheet is actualy cached and may take some time to update properly. If you are keeping track of increases it's best to use Show Info instead of looking at Character Sheet > Standings.

I was just starting a conversation with the agent I wanted to do missions for. For about 10-12 missions I got no standing increase with him, then suddenly I was getting .1 standing for every 2 missions.

Edit: I was not able to jump to the remote clone without destroying current implants that is, I could still jump to it if i felt like destroying the implants.
