Odyssey 1.1 Patch download problems

As the launcher shows 1000's of pilots online the patch must work but not for me.

CCP please help, my launcher is stuck at

(2/4): CREATING EVE_ONLINE_571887-598940_WIN.PATCH: 50.0% - DOWNLOADING 0 B / 751.24 MB

There is lots of internet activity but the file size and message above do not change.

Do I just wait or what 30 minutes now no change ??

Update:
A most frustrating day and still Eve Online is not working on my PC.

Ran repair multiple times as suggested - no change.
Completely removed Eve, downloaded new copy from CCP web site. (6 hours later)

Install to about 80% extracting files then multiple data errors. Says it needs to run repair, it does but does not fix.
Remove and install 3 times and same result, all I can assume is the download is corrupt, yet the script says validated ok.
Do I try a download again ?

Tell you what I am over this, I was beginning to understand and enjoy Eve, looking forward to my journey. Not any more. Plenty of other games to play, plenty that work properly, updates and downloads all good. You would think after 10 years CCP would have got updates working correctly. Blizzard took about 3 years to get updates working well. Never had as much trouble with an update as the last day has been, reminds me of Windows 95 games.

Of course the fault is mine as 1000's have updated and are now playing ok. But for the life of me I cannot work out what is wrong with my PC. This same post in the issues forum has nill response from CCP, this shows they dont care, so I dont care either. My Eve experience is over, sad, was beginning to enjoy the game.

ask in the issues forum, where they actually look for people having issues?

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

My tip: close the launcher, run repair.exe in your Eve directory.

They aren't responding to any of the client/launcher update issues though, that is the problem. Not a single word.

I got stuck at 3/4 but after running the EVE Repair Tool it magically fixed whatever was causing the problem.

Ran repair.exe like most people said and it worked just fine. Should I have just done that in the first place? Would have saved me from downloading close to 3gb of data :/

Right so

i have now

Shocked downloaded the patch 4 times failed to install it 4 times
Shocked Run repair twice

My chars are now empty as i did not expect this to last over 24 hours.

Arrow Please can you give me an offline installer patch file and i will inject it as i have now run out of bandwidth Question

Afaik, there isn't a premade patch avail atm ... they removed the file and reverted to sync auto repair.
In the first Odysssey patch (back in June) they used a premade, which threw a lot of launcher vomit. Looks like they're pandering same case again.

As the Op said.

Downloaded three times, always got stuck at applying patch: 0,0%. My 2GB volume is already used up, so CCP made me spend RL money already

Repair tool also not working get stuck at 3/7 - inizializing recipes: 0%

Trying to install from exe.exe also not working getting stuck at initializing recipes - 0%

There is a threadnought on the information portal but CCP only responding to posts that when you hover mouse over overheated module its not showing the damage, not a single word that patching fails.

So you wont get an answer here from CCP. Posting this from the Laptop where i can´t enter the game anymore, as my main machine at home patched smoothley yesterday evening (EU TZ).

They will get a hatemail when i´m at home and can file a bug report Oops

Possibly CCP aren't replying because you are ranting, raving & trolling. Rather than concise clear bug reports with attached screenshots detailing fully the steps you have been through and the screenshots showing the error messages that have resulted, as well as your system specs, operating system, and when the last time you defragmented & error checked your disk drive was.
I strongly suggest doing the later two steps before trying again btw as the issue may actually be a corrupt sector on your hard drive.

1. No one, either me or the other 200, were ranting, till now.
2. How to file a bug report when not able to log in. Starting the launcher will only download the patch for the 4th time.
3. Lol at HDD failure. When playing till half an hour before extended DT, where HDD was perfectly ok.
4. Completley uselesss post, so you can consider yourself who the troll is.

Not CCP's fault for you having such a ****** internet service provider. Tho does remind me Mediacom just went to that based on GB's and not just a monthly price.. ******* bullshit.. what is this world coming to!?

CCP is not ******* paying us for filing "clear bug reports with attached screen shots". We are paying for a working system.
