Can't spin ships in-stion after windows-update

Like the title says: I manually applied my (monthly or so) windows update and after it finished, I get no animation in the in-station environment. I can fit ships, buy stuff, all the other jazz works perfectly, just no flames from my barge, no spinning of ships, no camera-shift when entering hangar/station. The image of ship in hangar is static and remains like that.

Dual Nvidia 560 Ti SLI & i5-2500K, W7 64bit, 8GB

I tried several earlier gfx-drivers but no avail. I also un/re-installing the client. So I guess it's a windows part that got updated and subsequently broke my EVE.

Anyone else had this and found a solution?
