My client finally patched - just left it and it patched on the third try.

I have a specific comb for my beard.

Lol. Repair tool stuck at 3/7 since half an hour.

When opening the launcher it starts downloading for the 3rd time. Unfortunatly my 2 GB volume is already used and its the 3rd of the month, BY YOU; CCP, and i´m not willing to pay my provider for extending this.

I sense an incoming ragequit at least for some time.

Mine stopped on beginning of 3/4 first time through. Restarting the patcher made it download again but it did then succeed.

And so I have run the launcher 4 times, each time is stopping on the step 3/4....so I ran repair.exe, it stoped after step 3/7 and says the repair is complete and now I can't open exe.exe or the launcher so I am now stuck downloading the entire client and reinstalling....

If I lose all my overview settings, fits and BMs I am going to be...let's say, unhappy.

How is it possible to have in such a hot game as a stupid launcher?

have now charged three times 776MB download, thanks CCP

I gave up on launcher about 4 months ago. Since then I am using repair.exe for every time game gets patched. At first I had some problems (repair.exe sometimes would just not work, saying that something went wrong, with no explanation), but now not a single trouble in last 2 months.

But then again I'm playing Space Quest III...

Everyone is always repeating the mantra "Don't Trust Anyone" ad nauseum... If I can't trust the guys I play with, why bother playing with them at all? Fly Solo...

i had the same thing, the update just stopped half way through, and i had to restart(and redownload) to finish patching

was very smooth the 2nd try..

Seems you know enough to have found a way to fix it on your own. The quality of an answer isn't always dependent on the technical level of the answer given. Usually the simpler you make your answer to a problem the more people can understand and implement.

You know guys that there is a whole thread reserved for issues with the new patch, where CCP staff is looking right now ?
