SUrvey Network and Gas Sites

So, let's say I own a system in 0.0 and I install a Survey Network iHub upgrade. I know that Hacking and Archaeology sites will increase in frequency, but will gas sites also increase or would the Ore upgrade be needed for that? If not, do any ihub upgrades increase the spawn amount and/or frequency of gas sites?
