I posted about this elsewhere, I just can't find where lol, so please don't everyone pew pew me at once if you've already read it.. Lol I have an idea.. Seeing how most Amarr ships are very symmetrical in nature, would it be possible to fix the Zealot / Omen hulls to have the 'Arm / Shield' extension they have on one side.. either completely disappear for let's say the Omen, or be installed on both sides for let's say the Zealot.

I want it noted for the record, if the Omen now changes drastically, I will hunt your corp and alliance to the ground in a crusade of wrathful vengeance.

The Omen hull is one of the best models in the game, and certainly does not need messing with, beyond a shiny new texture.

With all due respect to your opinion: bugger off.

Asymmetry = win.

Tthe Omen's jousting shield, and the ships based of that hull, should never lose it, or gain another one on the other side.

I know how much the community is reluctant to change, out of fears that it may not come out good.. but the CCP art team has always managed to make excellent if not amazing work... What I'm asking for, is that some symmetry be applied where it's due, or at least an 'installable module' option be given.. as Amarr are strong believers in perfection. I know there are two examples of other asymmetrical ships at least in the Amarr fleet, but those are older designs.. there is no real justification why a later design should not reflect their perfectionist ideology. As a strong believer in Amarr philosophy, I strongly believe that the ship would benefit from some sort of option to have either no arms, or both arms.. and not just one.

However, I do appreciate everyone's opinions if they are what you believe.. but there is no reason for personal attacks on me or my corp, etc... you can bring all the firepower you want.. heck go wardeck right now, don't just throw idle words around. All I can tell you is that it's part of the game, and I just want what's best for everyone. For me.. its more then just a game, It's something I believe in.. that Caldari always have asymmetry where it's due, and Amarr have Symmetry, etc.. Other then that.. let's pew pew. Pirate

thats just a hardpoint for spinal mounted BS weapons (and the place where all the ship cleaning slaves are stored).

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Oh god, the Omen is one of the best looking hulls in the game, please don't alter it!

P.S. asymmetry is good Roll

IMHO there are only 3 Amarr hulls which could need a slight change:

Arrow Crucifier: while the whole model is nice, the middle section does not look Amarr. Way to flimsy and low tech, more like Minmatar

Arrow Apocalypse: needs a bit more substance - I think it's too thin. Less anteater, more battleship please! Big smile

Arrow Archon: the model looks great, only those extra long thrusters don't really fit imo. Archon should borrow it from Coercer.

the lack of symmetry is nice, if they upgrade the model, I hope they keep that wing.

I don't even fly Amarr and I wouldn't want the Omen changed. Asymmetry on space ships is awesome, IMO. There is no such thing as aerodynamics in space... Besides, aesthetics are all personal opinion anyway.

This is actually a case of attractive asymmetry (unlike most of the asymmetrical caldari ships that look like flying abortions). OP should be hunted for sport.

Lol I love the omen hull. I still think the maller needs fixing tho. I mean it used to suck but after the model changed it is still ugly as hell.

+1 from me. It'd be the best looking carrier in the game if not for those P

It just needs to be shiny again, instead of matte. I was super pumped to get into a Sacrilege before the redesign, and then it became this flat black chunk of metal, not near as cool as the sleek and black skin before it...

Can you hear them? They are calling to us. It is beautiful. http://thegreattichim.wordpress.com/

You have to agree it does have a bit of a hunchback and a big ass though. The front is pure win however.
