Fitting Paliden for missions, could use some help

Hey guys, I decided to go for a Paliden this week with the new mini Dread changes coming. For something new to try, then I realized I have no idea how to fit a mission Paliden and get a Jump drive on it. I use Mega Pulse II's generally as I dont like Tachy's.

I have a inc fit, but that wont really help in level 4s.
Anyone got any ideas can help me out?

cheers.

if you are gonna do sniper missions you are gonna need tachs.

Tachyons + Optimal Range Bonus + Powergrid buff the Paladin is getting will make it excellent with Tachs. You'd probably fit it something like this:

[Paladin, L4s]

Imperial Navy Heat Sink
Imperial Navy Heat Sink
Imperial Navy Heat Sink
Armor Kinetic Hardener II
Armor Explosive Hardener II
Armor Explosive Hardener II
Large Armor Repairer II

Large Micro Jump Drive
Tracking Computer II, Optimal Range Script
Tracking Computer II, Optimal Range Script
Tracking Computer II, Optimal Range Script

Tachyon Beam Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency L
Tachyon Beam Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency L
Tachyon Beam Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency L
Tachyon Beam Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency L
Bastion Module
[Empty High slot]
[Empty High slot]
[Empty High slot]

Large Auxiliary Nano Pump I
Large Energy Collision Accelerator II

This should fit with no problems after the patch, does 1k dps to 66+48km with IN Multi with guns, probably able to push almost 90km with the Bastion module (not sure how its calculated though), the tank is light but in combination with the MJD you should be able to mitigate most of the dps.

However I'm not sure how viable the Bastion module will be for L4s as it forces you to stay in place for 60 seconds till the timer runs out so you can't use it constantly or in every mission as the timer may sometimes force you to just sit there and wait for it to run out. Also it only gives optimal/falloff bonuses and no damage multiplier.

Remember that the Marauder changes will first come to TQ in the winter expansion, not now. So you have quite a few months before the changes.

Always after the winter buff, if you going to MJD sniper, best rigs are Energy Locus Coordinator II x2
With bastion and new optimal bonus it wil have IN-MF optimal aroung 80+25 km at 1000dps / IN-XR 120+25 at 840 dps/ IN-STD 670 dps at 160+25 km ....all with 2 more med slot free ( 1 filled with a SE-BO even just for more scan res ) A set of lens last 8 hours of shootinh stuffs on tachs

ATM training maraueders at 5, hoping in a buff to tractors range too

thanks lads, will give that a try. My domi can kill fast at 170+k's but I am sick of sentry's. So figured why not try Marauder.

Solid setup, i've been using a similar one but with pulses instead.
The only things i have different are:
- Use 2 hardeners( but deadspace ones)
-Can fit 4th heatsink(gain like 30+ dps) OR tracking enhancer(optimal is nice with pulses)
-Only 2 Tracking comps and use a federation web(can even hit frigs when they orbiting <10km)
-Fit a deadspace/faction repper because you only have 2 hardeners :)
-I use CCCs for cap stability(~15m running without salvager/tractor)

58 optimal/74 falloff with scorch and 4 heatsinks + 2 optimal scripts, 852 turret dps
19 optimal/35 falloff with navy multi with the same setup, 1069 turret dps, 1199 dps with drones lol
same range with conflag but dps is at 1193 turret and 1323 with drones XD

I tried t2 tachs before but the blockade vs sansha/blood raiders is a pain regardless because of heavy TDs, other missions are easy, personal preference when it comes to tach/pulses IMO, both are good.

I jsut fit that fitting using all deadspace (Core) an faction as he posted an replacing all T2 in the fit, an yet my Cap is 1:11 sec I have maxed Core skills an my only energy skill at 4 is Electronics upgrades everything els is V.

I do have 1 slot left to do on implants (#10) an still to install the T2 rig... But a 1 min 11 sec cap is utterly useless....

5% cap hardwiring
T2 CCCs

If you are still not happy with cap then fit a cap recharge in mid, over 1 TC and put 1 TE in low instead of 4th HS. Other option is to keep the mids as they are and put a cap power relay in low(instead of 4th heatsink/TE).

Edit: However if you are going with MJD then pulses are kinda pointless IMO, jump covers too much distance, plus with pulses you are within tractor range :D(48km with marauders 5)

You kind of need the nano pump though dont ya?
Not to mention the T2 Enegery collision rig ?
I will have a look at the cap hardwire, I got a Lancer Large energy Turret LE-1005 for slot #10

I don't see a point in nano pump, you rep 1771 with core x-type which is like 11% of your total armor lol.

I use 3 faction heatsinks and 1 T2 because you only gain <5 dps from switching to 4th faction, keeps the cost somewhat down.

how do you survive with a 15 sec cap mate ?

Honestly cap boosters are where its at, if it isn't a MJD fit I usually just use a cap booster and drop all the other cap modules.

if the bastion changes go through, you will probably get by with one eanm and a medium booster. add a damage control to protect your shinies from suicide ganks and trololol through missions cap stable with 90k optimal tachs.

also, there is 0 reason to waste a slot on a mjd if you can just stand and burn everything while shrugging off the damage.

I should buy an Ishtar.
