I notice many threads about players complaining about (sometimes the smallest) things that are wrong with EVE, and not enough threads praising CCP for what they do right! They work hard! Please post here what you think CCP does well, and keep your rude comments to yourself! Big smile

I myself like the combat in EVE, how it is not the mindless point n' click that one performs in WoW and such MMOs like that. The depth of ship customization is nice, too.

I assume you're new here because if you think it's bad right now then you clearly haven't been here the last 18 months. Right now people are falling over themselves to heap rainbow wrapped praise on CCP! Deservedly so I might add too.

My whine-o-meter is reading *taps the needle*, well it's either broken or the general mood is currently unicorns and fairies all around.

If anyone ever looks at you and says,_ "Hold my beer, watch this,"_  you're probably going to want to pay attention.

I have nothing but praise at how well CCP can repeatedly, consistently and to a high standard F*** Up.

It boggles my mind to think why you are paying to play a game you say is "F***ed up".

I think this falls in the category of rude comments!

Sorry, would Stuff Up have been better?

Fixed that for you. This is WoTanks after all.

It appears that you naysayers are hijacking my thread! All I wanted to do was show that some EVE players care, but I guess that is against the law.

CCP has the integrity to not go back on what they stand for (except for that idiot in the recruitment channel). There is literally no other MMO that does this.

Welcome to Human Nature 101, here is some useful info:

Anonymous forum dwellers are kinda like the news media.

Nobody cares what good things happen, only what bad things happen. Bad news is the only worthy news.

Also, if there's one thing that anonymous people on internet forums love, its whining, trolling and hating.

I like the SciFi lore and artwork of EVE, massive potential.

I'm loving the Dev openness, 1 Dev blog per day is great.

Sharing ideas on SISI is excellent too Blink

Forum posting. CCP has all the best forum posters.

Oh, and all the dev blogs we've been getting lately has forced me to buy a whole new wardrobe for underwear.

Some of the new stuff popping up on sisi is altso quite inventive and... well great. Nice work CCP, keep it up!

Stop the spamming, not the scamming!

The one thing CCP has been really good at, as far as I'm concerned, is starting to get all the things done that really need to get done. That, and Trinity. That was awesome.

Overall, though, I'd say just the MASSIVE potential EVE has, and we haven't even scratched the surface. We have spaceships and stations now (outside and a little bit inside), but eventually I wouldn't be surprised if EVE included cities on planets that were filled with NPCs and that you could land in, stations jam-packed with rooms, players and NPCs...heck, maybe even thousands more systems further from the currently existing ones! That's the beauty of sci-fi: the universe is as big as all the imaginations of everyone on our planet x 10^10. The only limits are technology, and once that advances, EVE will be more real than ever, and will continue to become so. EVE could be as big as the universe itself, because that's where it's set.

One thing I'd be interested to see, though, if CCP ever opens more star systems up, is what happened to everyone on the other side of the EVE Gate. A galactic war? Desolation and empty ruins everywhere? Countless corporations still vying for control? Sure, it'd be REALLY hard to implement the entire galaxy, but I'm still curious...

Someday...

(Perhaps the stargates have all collapsed and must be reconstructed/replaced? Would make it a little more managable, assuming it ever is... o.o)

+1. Everything that you've seen or read in sci-fi is an idea that can expand Eve. Onward!

Perhaps that is what worm hole space is... openings to the other side of the EVE gate... and sleepers are but the ancient remnants of automated defense systems abandoned long ago by our ancestors before they annihilated each other. Smile
