EVE API Missing lots of kills

It came to my attention that recently an increasing number of kills are no longer ported via the API to the Killboards. It is not only me but hear this from a lot of players.

As killing is for lot a main purpose this is a bit annoying.
Is this a known bug and is CCP already looking into this?
