When did I say there was an appearance of fairness? All I said was these are a scam. I didn't say they are dressed up to be non profit, I didn't say they were fair, I didn't say you were guaranteed to win. I simply said that they are a scam. They are relatively easy to rig, and with the history of EVE players as a benchmark, chances are 9/10 lotteries are rigged to generate more isk for the host.

All lotteries are DESIGNED to generate isk for the host. Rigging it would indeed be a scam; but seeing as a lottery in and of itself is designed to make money without even being rigged, rigging it is not necessary. I can draw names out of a hat; as long as I sell more in tickets than I give away in prizes, I make money. That's not rigged, it's how it works.

Furthermore, 'more' isk is a ridiculous description. More than what? How much isk are they supposed to be making?

Personally won billions in ships/isk for not even half invested of what I won. Some people don't understand the sun doesn't orbit around their belly and actually think everyone is chasing them or wants to harm them and Sommer Blink are actually a triade organization. Lotteries always generate ISK for the host.
But, if SOMER was a scam, you'd think people would have caught up by now and moved on.
She runs it legit and to be frank, she makes more doing it legit than she would otherwise.
