Can't you write a petition ingame ? I'm sure they can at least refund you and cancel what you just did if you explain it was a mistake.

LOL this might sound rude, but while I missed the power of 2 by making an alt account 1 week prior its terms where very well laid out. Get 6 months of game time for a fraction of the cost. I think you listened to forum post when you should not have. Keep in mind alot don't know what they are talking about and will "Guess" or realay information they heard from others that have done this.

You did not "waste your cash" unless you plained on leaving the game after 3 months. One that 4th month hits you would be on what is basically 3 months of free play time since you paid a low price upfront for 6 months. One might argue that you could pay with PLEX bought ingame but since you are trying to buy plex to sell for isk I find it unlikely you will use isk to buy plex.

Petition and see if they will undue it, but remember that they did state what was given and the information was available on the signup page so if they do not reverse it, than it is no ones fault but your own. (Would it be okay if they only gave you 4 months because they made an error in figuring in 6 months?). Also look at the gain you got 6 months for 1/2 price not a bad deal.

Yeah, I don't believe you where mislead intentionally. I am sure you are aware of the buddy program where if you refer a friend and if they sign up you get a free month. In most cases the "friend" only does a month and it seems it is a 1-1 which probably lead many to confuse the promotions and think the 3-3.

I do wish you luck and hope things turn out for you, just don't want you rage quitting over it or something like that. Also you are correct your account will be banned if you tried to sell it, from what I understand. You may sell CHARECTERS on the accounts for isk and CCP will transfer said character to another active account (with a real world cash charge to them for the service), however you cannot sell accounts themselves. Also you cannot sell characters or ISK for cash only through in game resources or PLEX.

Please not that any scams involving character transfers as they include RL money is prohibited someone scamming will be banned and what was scammed will be returned. You can scam PLEX however from within the game as once it is in the game it is an in game item and no longer involves RL cash.

Yeah, but he wants to defeat the original (mis)understood arrangement and preserve his main.

PS: Image change is because I let the character's namesake readjust the appearance.

Now I don't feel so alone, I did the same thing and made two alt accounts a week before the offer. Oh well...

Could someone clarify this for me, because I don't get the difference. I was thinking of firing up another account with this, but the things this guy has been through seems like it doesn't make any sense.

My understanding was, you start a new account and it either gets 180days play time OR 90days + 3 Plex (which I could use for another account). From reading this thread, it doesn't seem to be the case. So what's up?
