EvE Valkyrie - Some new twists

I like the idea of EvE-V, V for Valkyrie, Anonymous is going to hate that..ha...ha..ha...oh well jugheads.
I like that EvE - V is a first person space shooter along the lines of Vendetta I think it is.

Hopefully CCP will set it up so that you can collect items in space and then sell them for ship repairs and new upgrades.

I would also hope that CCP would Valkyrie A single-player or co-op player mission campaign as well which would put us right in the heat of battle.

Maybe CCP would even add some mission where you have to dock at a station to conduct the mission or win the map in multi-player mode.

What would even more interesting is if CCP could incorporate Valkyrie into Eve Online where you go into combat on both platforms where the EvE based ships would engage Eve based ships and the Valkyrie Fighters would engage other fighters within Valkyrie but would still be visible to both EvE and Valkyrie players.

The Valkyrie ships would be seen as little x's similar to the x's seen when you pop an analyzer can to the Eve player and vice verus for the Valkyrie player.

Might be too much lag but it would still be fun to try and make work. Fleet Combat between two platforms would take on a whole new depth of actions as would the over - all game play for EvE-Online.

What do you think a fighter is? a freaking salvage drone? I hope that nothing of what you hope will happen except that it has to be incorporated.

I hope that this is never 'fully integrated,' since that seems to mean half-assedly-tied-in in CCP parlance.

When a ship (especially one with a main rear thruster) maneuvers in space it's tiny positional rockets will be tilting and slewing the ship around to get the rear thruster in line to apply thrust in the necessary direction. At high speeds, while there will be small differences, it will often look like a conventional aircraft in how it is moving.

well if CCP decided to hire someone better than the guy that spent 6+ months to setup a forum that could be hacked using plain-text (even impersonating people) and wasn't nothing more than a bare-bones 3rd party forum software stripped off any functionality (including security features) beyond looking pretty and excessive use of jscript, then yeah, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
