Eliminating the need for decimal Isk amounts (amounts under 1 isk)

Is it neccessary to have amounts of isk that are less than 1 isk's value? The only way I have seen this feature being used in its current form is for traders who set the value of their sell or buy order at 0.01 isk less/more than the competition.

Since there is a minimum of 100 isk charge (for escrow) on any buy or sell order, it means players cannot sell items for less than 100 isk, essentially. So why do we have amounts of isk that are less than 1?

Are you saying that you want Tritanium to be worth 4 or 5 ISK/unit, but never 4.56?

5,000,000 tritanium at 4.56 isk = 22,800,000

That same amount of tritanium at 5.00 isk = 25,000,000

That's the price difference of 2,200,000 isk right there - that's 2,200,000 isk more per Raven hull on tritanium alone. So yes, it's necessary, as it adds up very fast.
