He served his country in WW2. Took a bullet in the leg fighting for what was right. Continued helping people for years afterward. Gets senselessly beaten to death by 2 punks.

That man didn't deserve that. Personally I'm going to spend a little time today finding out if there is anywhere I can donate to for his funeral.

I always feel that the penal regiments should be brought back for things like this.

Kill a veteran? Get a lifetimes tour as it were.

A hell of a lot more useful than putting them in prison.

Stupid punks, I hope they get the justice they deserve, 40 years in prison.

I just felt the urge to add that beating an old man to death is always bad, no matter if he was a veteran or not.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

National Service might be useful for keeping a general discipline, seems to have done wonders for Israel keeping a high tech literate confident population, Germany too maintained an industrious mindset.

There's always need for people clearing minefields.

Meh, jump ropes are cheaper and more humane.

40 years for murder? Death Penalty, I say, or at least life without the possibility of parole.

Watch this space.  New exciting signature in development.
