Yes people should tank their barges, and yes even a well tanked barge will die to enough ships, what you failed to mention was that there are so many untanked barges out there, the tanked ones will probably be passed over, until the gankers run out of easier targets. Unless of course you're flying it, in which case suiciding a swarm of destroyers would be totally worth it.

Goonswarm itself has a figurative/ diminutive name, "little bees"

Yes...yes I did. For some reason certain people have a role playing mentality when it comes to miners or indies. Like a us against them thing. I find this amusing. They make statements like ALL miners never tank ALL miners are care bears. They use all encompassing statements like NEVER, ALWAYS, EVERY, ALL….etc.

Eve is huge and full off exceptions. Those people that would have you believe these players are all under one umbrella and should be hated lack maturity and intelligence. Just because you take out 5 non tanked miners doesn’t mean all miners are not tanked, and those same miners may be a null sec player or goonie even.

Try not to be so narrow minded. I realize this is just a game, maybe some people should stop and consider that and leave your epeen and your forum trolling credentials in your parents basement.

I am not here to teach you reading comprehension. Go back and read what was written and try to decipher for yourself. My main point was some people here want to act like all miners don’t tank and all are care bears. They are not all care bears and plenty do tank. The other point was it doesn’t matter what you tank or how you fit if they want to kill you they will.

Your problem like many forum trolls is you want to get hung up on arguing over stupid little things like spelling gramer and numbers. Thats how and why you always seem to miss the point.

I can and will admit I did not catch the auto correction of the word. Should this be the worse or only mistake I make irl or game I will consider myself fortunate. The point remains the same regardless of the typo.

The cost of replacement hulls is considered in the profit-loss calculation - cheaper fits mean less loss, more profit. THAT^^ is your number-one defense against being ganked - alert, aware of who is in local (and what their KB says about them!), moving at all times with turn points and multiple safes in all directions, and checking intelligence. THAT is how you mine without getting bored OR ganked - by being engaged, and continually checking the surroundings.

I'll grant that it's work, but who's afraid of a little work, eh?
