Hi!

I just bought a new screen, one beastly thing with 144hz refresh rate, and I noticed that EvE only feature that limits to 60 fps or lower. (not counting interval immediate which pushes eve to give between 400-600 fps.... Yes I have a gtx titan ^^)

What I really wanna see is an interval set for either 120fps or 144 fps for people with alittle higher end screens to get alittle more fluidity in EvE.

Thanks for feedback and keep improving this awesome game

Weird, I always thought that the V-Sync option would sync the frame rate to the refresh rate of the screen... Guess that was back in the day before TFT and similar screens were the standard issue for gamers.

EDIT: @OP I bet you one million isk that some techie will be there shortly correcting me on every account. From spelling to grammar to my outdated and most possibly wrong knowledge of computer display technologies. Big smile

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

Fighting back is more fun than not.

Vsync limits the FPS to your monitors refresh rate, no matter what that is. If you set it to interval one then it should be limited to 144 fps.

Saying that, it would be nice to set a custom frame rate limit, but I believe that can be done in some driver control panels.

Yes if it was true Vsync it would sync it to 144 fps but since interval one is just a preset for 60 fps it doesnt happen I'm afraid.

Therefore I am hungry for that option haha.

Thanks for the reply though ^_^

Try disabling the Vsync ingame and force the vsync in nvidia controll panel :)

I force adapative vsync through the control panel for Eve as it produces nicer effects at 120Hz if you don't mind a little tearing.

I'm using a 120Hz panel tho and even without forcing it through the control panel I'm sure it was syncing at 120Hz rather than 60 ingame - but that does seem a little buggy try alt+enter to window mode and alt+enter again to fullscreen or using fixed window.

That does actually work, although the point is that it would be great to have it in game. But thanks for the reply ^_^
