I don't see any CNRs in the auctions. Why would that be?

You aren't alone. Sick of correcting people who insist on calling the RNI 'CNR'.

You have a long road ahead of you, considering EVERYONE including CCP refers to it by that name.

No they don't. Just people who like being awkward call it by that name.

"Caldari Navy Raven" or "CNR" is an old name that persists even though that's not the official name any more. Much like the West Side Highway in New York City is now officially the Joe DiMaggio Highway, but to most locals, it's still the West Side Highway. Or like New Comiskey Park in Chicago is still called Comiskey Park even though it's officially U.S. Cellular Field.

Sometimes these things just happen.

I had my first "Raven Navy Issue" 5 years ago when the official name was "Caldari Navy Raven", and I was quite surprised when I came back after a 18 month break to see people writing RNI and SNI everywhere ...

Both are good, it's the same ship.

"CNR" has that "vintage" vibe for me tough Bear

Huh. Didn't realize that. Bad example, I guess.
