Ok i am Sure that every one likes the titans and Super Carriers but dosent like how you have to stay in each one i have a suggestion on a new class of ship and yes i have thought about this very long and hard

i would Like to Suggest the Class of "City Ship"

Features ability to Jump Large Distances and Hold other ships but have a Limit to how often they can jump
Jump only able to Happen once every 24 hours

Ship acts Like a Npc Station being able to Create and host Jump clones repair ships at a fuel cost
large hanger and personal and corp storage

With a New type of storage Called Alliance hanger (self explanatory)

Ship can only launch 4 Weapon battery for self defense and is not controllable

yes i do understand with this it could mean a shift but my more goal is a platform for Null sec Operations centers
Mining base`s that are Semi mobile requiring a ship Similar to a titan to Jump it from location to location
its max hanger storage could be the size of a single Titan so that no one group could use it to make the game balance uneven

then again this is just a idea

it would be nice to Have a Player owned Structure that can move

Mobile POS? Why such a complicated explanation? everyone would understand mobile POS. I think.

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

Fighting back is more fun than not.

Why would anyone build one though? It'd be useless for nomads, and a giant target for literally everyone.

Something that caters more to blackops behind enemlines would be more usefull.

How about a capital ship class that doesn't suck against sub-capitals?

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

lol, this is the problem.
All the little guys want this thing so they can jump into null without an alliance behind them. What they always fail to see is how quickly alliances would dunk it.

That's the thing. In the tactical rock-paper-scissors of EVE, caps are SUPPOSED to be bad against subcaps. Even with blap Moroses, they are only effective against battleships and only with a support fleet.

I can understand frigates, destroyers, cruisers and even battlecruisers - but battleships are roughly the same size as carriers - and not much smaller than dreadnoughts. I actually wouldn't mind seeing the number of slots increased on these carriers and dreadnoughts and siege/triage being reduced so they'd actually be more useful in fleet actions.

They also miss the point that you'd need to hold sov for several months in order to build the thing in the first place.

Right... Which was actually pitched by Soundwave last year.

Yup, he said it was one of the ideas they were playing around with as a long term feature for the POS revamp and the idea of personal POSes. Then the whole ship revamp thing got priority and the POS code was a mess and we stopped hearing things about POS revamps to stop the logistics officers from turning Bi-Polar with hope/disappointment.

Megathron - 98,400,000 kg
Thanatos - 1,057,500,000 kg
Moros - 1,292,000,000 kg

Better recheck your math sunshine. The Thanatos weighs 959,100,000 kg (959 MILLION) more than the Megathron. I checked, and the number are similar across all the factions. Battleships are nowhere NEAR the size of a carrier / dread.
