Proteus Explorer fit

Hey all,

Hopped on again after a few weeks (and another patch) and I am noticing that an exploring fit I had for my Proteus no longer works (i.e. I can't use the fit anymore)... Mainly the ability to equip a probe launcher causes the CPU to go over.

Was there a T3 ship change for CPU? Can anyone suggest an explorer fit?

Do you need expanded vs. core launcher?

Also where is this for? If you're just coming back, T3's can no longer enter DED 4's

With the profession changes, you don't necessarily need the salvager (still useful for faction/overseer wrecks), you might want a cargo scanner, and if this is for hisec, profession sites really aren't worth doing.

Hmmm... I was able to get into Deltole - Think that was DED4. Unless the rooms you're talking about are scanned out DED rooms.... That sort of sucks to find out.

Yea, hisec stuff.

Yeah, you don't want a T3 for that then. You can't get into proper DED 4s (no idea on the Cosmos sites; I guess those have been forgotten again). Professional sites are better done in pretty much any scan frig.

If you want to just hop DED 4s, you're pretty much fine in an Ishtar (or other HAC of your choice, but if you're starting with a Proteus that's not a stretch). If you want to stick with the T3, you'll want to go at least to low sec and start combing for DED 5s and 6s.
