Whats the better decision ?

T2 Arty on Machariel with MJD ?

or Autocannons + AB for Heavens and Sanctums ?

With short range weapons i am a bit affraid about webing frigs, while trying to mitigate some damage through speed.

Any advices before i buy that Macha + fitting ?

Btw : i used search function but i couldnt find an satisfactory answer.

ratting mwd mach is a fail. Part of mach tank is it's speed/sig ratio.

Autocannons kill faster than arties.

Premise: you do not need to move fast in nullsec anoms except station sanctum which spawns at spread ranges. Station sanctum is bad and should be left for sentry carriers who can use the long completion and spread spawns. In order to do max damage in mach, you slowboat to spawn areas and shoot stuff at 10-20km with low transversal. Going full speed tank just loses you dps.

Thus, in practise, you either fit 3x ccc and decide to shield tank it or you fit a t2 burst aeratir to offset the dps loss from afterburner tanking and speed tank it. These allow a reasonable fit (only faction damage mods and booster) to pull it off while staying at optimal dps range. If you get a deadspace shield booster you can stationary tank with burst aerator.

Drones: ECM and valkyries + warriors.
Util high: heavy neut.
These grant pvp escape.

Afterburner is realistically worthless on anoms, but necessary to solo ded10/10 and 8/10 sites which spawn every now and then. Use a scout for sites :)

leave all aside. Burst 2 rig , get a gist xl shield booster.
Faction gyros and t2 sentries. 5 small drones also just in case..

The setup can go 1400+ dps , 750 defence and still leave you powergrid for a t2 heavy neut and cap booster just in case you needed (neut and warp off or last more and hope to get saved :P)

Dont use prop mods dont move. Its not needed. Just warp shoot go to next 1 aim for hubs. On heavens warp further . Even with barage you still shoot 1000dps :P

I used this with great success against sansha rats only doing ring sanctums

Low sig high dps and with such high resists 90%+ and 85%+ a large deadspace booster is more than enough.

Just practise with your transversal on frigs and you are fine.
