When you're flying in a fleet and you kill something the first thing everyone wants to know is who got the killmail so that it can be linked it in fleet chat. Of course nobody knows who got the mail so we all have to check, this happens many many times during a roam. It would be nice if there was a specific noise that played when you land a final blow, so that you KNOW you got the killmail. Plus it would be awesome to know right away that you landed the final killing blow, instead of having to check the mails later after all of the action has settled down.

A sound reminds me too much of WoW for some reason Shocked Although it can be quite fun... What about making your character sheet blink?

When a locked ship dies it blinks a bit before disappearing - Instead of the sound (or in addition to the sound) maybe they could add a red hue behind the ship portrait as it blinks before disappearing to indicate that you landed the final blow.

I definitely think some way of indicating who got a killmail would be helpful. Character sheet flashing is a simple way to pull it off. Perhaps the sound effect used when one loots a container can be used as well?

Why not Both? A sound and Blink on the character sheet.

(Although if the roaming group is all in the same Corp you can just use the Corporation -> Wars -> Kills Page to link from)

Seems like a good idea.

A little 'Quality OF Life' improvement for those who like to Gang PvP.

Red glow that appears inside the wreck that moves to the ship that got the final blow.

The glow would be visual only and would use missile code to move to its target. (slow->fast->vanish)
