With truthful news like this, I imagine it gets more and more difficult for the tabloids to fabricate shocking stories...

Well, an ex-girlfriend of mine used to own a bovine-themed restaurant where the waitresses wore only white and black body paint and bells round their necks. and fake horns.

The universe is a weird place sometimes.

Of the two in question, one simply has catlike ears and a tail and the other, while heavily modded with fur and a tail, is not a cat.

I did say 90%. The "horde" or "wave" was the truly inaccurate part. The first example is more obviously a catgirl. The second example is only less obviously so. Definitely still a catgirl. Ears aren't the only deciding factor.

Secondly, the nudist in question was not nude at all with the exception of an insignificant instance where it was requested; in fact she was in a quasi transparent outfit, the other body modder was clothed normally if scantily.

Were you even there when it happened? She was most definitely nude, and it was most emphatically not requested, except perhaps in private where nobody could hear. She later admitted she was high on mindflood at the time, and has stated on repeated occasions that she has an aversion to wearing clothes of any kind.

Finally, I find this entire debate to be little more than facilitated hatespeech of the sort that would not be tolerated if any other group were the target of it. If you find such activities to be disagreable, do not participate in them. If you find certain sights to be unsightly, do not look at them. These were not images or activities that were forced into your face or personal space in any way that was not voluntary.

Your notions of freedom and what is and is not permissible are not shared by the rest of the cluster. Definitions of hate-speech or even illegality varies, even between individuals of the same nation or ethnicity.

Further, what your argument fails to take into account is the expectation on the part of the viewer. If one is to tune into a children's holochannel, there are certain expectations on what that content will be. Most importantly the expectations of what it won't be. They will expect that nudity, strong language, sexual acts, sexual speech, or mature situations will not be featured. On the opposite end of the spectrum, if one is to tune into an adult's holochannel, any or all of these things may be featured, and it comes as no surprise to the viewer.

The Summit fluid router channel holds similar expectations from the viewer. A lack of nudity is one of those expectations, and when nudity is forced into our space involuntarily we are going to object, and object loudly.

Welcome to space, Ms. Leglise.

Gutter Press got it 'almost' right. Still, props for at least trying here. There's hope yet.

Huh, well said Eskeitan Alexandros.

As I stated to you the other night, Miss Leglise, what was done was the equivalent of walking into a public place naked and demanding that everyone turn away simply because you have the right to be nude. Even in the "freedom and liberty" of the Federation, such an action would get you arrested, or at least removed from the establishment because it violates the expectations of decorum, decency and sense.

Your flagrant disregard for anything you consider "inhibiting" to your expressions of self are a testament to my words earlier regarding what happens when the ideals of "freedom and liberty" are taken to their logical extreme. You even defend yourself aggressively and arrogantly because you feel you are being treated unjustly when it is you whom has chosen to disregard the regulations and expectations and then "suggested" that everyone else comply with your desires.

In short, get over yourself or get used to being by yourself.

I think many people could stand to study the phrase "Get over yourself or get used to being by yourself"

I know I can.

Confirming that Muck Racker has actually produced accurate news. As for me? I don't much care what they do with their own body; that's none of my business. Now I can certainly understand the objections to the nudity, seeing as minors have connected to the comms channel in the past.

And well said, Avlynka!
