I am sure you all fart plenty.

The fart-helium-fallacy is misplaced.

We are doomed.

I may have been confused with methane but still. Scary/weird.

Aaaaaaand relax.

If only there were a giant freaking planet in our solar system that was made up of about 10% of the stuff.

DAM U NASA, Y U NO DEVELOP GAS MINING?!?!?!

Edit: A little google magic said that Saturn is made up of about 25% the mass of the planet of helium (although atmospheric content is more like 7%) . Jupiters atmosphere is 10% helium. Woooo! Science.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Anyway, we don't need no stinkin helium. Anything helium can do, hydrogen can do better. We might have a few Hindenberg-like explosions along the way, but hey, that's life in dystopia.

Better get on it because the government is already doing just that.

Risk vs Reward, most indeed.

That works with the title of thread as well. It's like they say about farting with headphones on; it's like Russian Roulette, you don't know how loud it was until you see the looks of the people around you.

Sadly, no. I do not péter near enough. Because mon air smells like freshly, baked baguettes, I am often asked to pass le air. Mais, I cannot meet demand.

The Buddha drew a circle with a piece of red chalk and said:  "When men, even unknowingly, are to meet one day, whatever may befall each, whatever the diverging paths, on the said day, they will inevitably come together in the red circle."

Smile Smelly, I liked your old sig better. "Quelle odeur!" Big smile

By the way, here's the boring Helium Monument in boring Amarillo, Texas, where all that helium is stored. There's a time capsule inside with stuff preserved in helium. My third grade class and I have essays in there about what life was like in the 1970s. That's some really informative stuff for some future historian to review, I can assure you. Blink

I apologise for your global warming.

Still, look on the bright side.

This went about as well as expected!

Inbetween the freshly baked baguettes and the barbecues I am feeling wholly satisfied.

Long as I don't need an MRI scan I should be fine! Big smile

Aaaaaaand relax.

We can't make energy from it, but we can fuse Hydrogen into Helium at a cost. Future it will become cost effective, but its supply vs demand really. Also decay of nuclear warheads naturally gives off certain Helium Isotopes, but I don't know how effective He3 is in magnetic cooling...

I am not sure what you are trying to insinuate.

Is it intensely hunting a FW corp while posting? So easy to get things muddled up Big smile
