Topic of maintaining faction standings between Gallente and Caldari is not a new topic but effectivly alternating between both can be tricky when trying to increasing standings for Corp A (Gallente) and Corp B (Caldari).

For instance getting to level 4 for both Gallente and Caldari can be difficult while trying to do missions for lets say just Roden Shipyards and Ishukone Watch. Beween these opposing agents are several jumps. The question I have is there a way to determine with ease, what systems share both Caldari and Gallente corporations. A dream solution is Roden and Ishukone are in the same system, and have both level 1- 4 agents in that system for both corporations.

I am open for any two opposing corporations as long as they share a system or withing 1 jump of each other. It makes for easy mission running for both! I'll continue with pen and paper

Any ideas?

Not sure from your post whether you're just trying to increase corporate standings, or actually trying to increase faction standings as well. If the former, just decline any missions against faction militaries and ignore storyline missions, and your faction standings will be maintained.

Not sure from your post whether you're just trying to increase corporate standings, or actually trying to increase faction standings as well. If the former, just decline any missions against faction militaries and ignore storyline missions, and your faction standings will be maintained.

Well I found that I can run Federal Administration and Caldari Business Tribunal, both to level 4 withing 4 jumps apart.

Best place i know of to grind up is in Metropolis near Hek (Krusual tribe, joint Harvesting, Freedom extension +5 jumps to Ishukone Corporation). That's more for Amarr and Minmatarr though, that combination though is best to run for IMO as the Caldari like Amarr more than Amarr like them. So by running for both Amarr and Minmatar you're going to get the best derived standings boost.

Didn't think of that! Thanks for the idea. So by running Minmatar and Amarr, Ill up my Caldari and Gallente?

Guess I'll toss my 2 ISK worth of opinion in here as well. Usually I would just say work the Event Agents listed in 'The Plan'.

However, since both of those Corporations you listed have R&D Agents and you're looking to build up both Corporation and Faction standing, sounds like you want access to R&D Agents. Then again I could be wrong.

If you're not going for R&D Agents, then definitely work the Event Agents listed in 'The Plan'. With high Faction standing, all Agents in all Corporations within the Faction become available. The only exception to that rule are R&D Agents since they require a set amount of both Corporation and Faction standing for access.

Of course it's much easier to gain high Corporation standing than Faction standing if you're grinding 16 regular missions to get 1 Storyline mission. However, if you work the Event Agents, you'll gain high Faction standing very quickly.

Since it seems you want access to high level R&D Agents, my suggestion is to work some of the Event Agents (Data Center / Tag Agents) for each Faction until you reach the required Faction standing. Keep watch on the Faction standings and bounce between the 2 Factions to bring them both up at the same time. After both Factions have the required amount of standing for access, go to each of those Corporations and grind the required Corporation standings. I wouldn't even bother with Storyline missions at this point since the goal is to gain Corporation standing without messing up the Faction standings.

Anyway, good luck to you. Hope I didn't confuse you with this info.
