I have been trying to update my toon on eveboard for the last few days to make it easyer for me to track.
It will open with my toon pic and employment history but all my skills etc are at zero.

Can anybody tell me why and how to fix it?

Because of your hair and the background, it looks like you have an egghead or part of your head missing. Neat.

Firstly, I would check the home page for eveboard, it tells you how to setup your api to ensure you have the right bits ticked so that the site can pull data from the api.

If you are sure you have the api done correctly, there is a thread for eveboard in the Skills Discussion subforum. I have seen people post in there with info about the odd glitch and Chribba seems to sort them out fairly quickly.

Usually that error does come down to access rights on the API key. If you are sure it has the proper rights let me know and I will try look into it (sadly this can also be an API error, but since CCP nowdays don't return error codes it's a bit tricky to find out the reason for API errors).

Perhaps this is something you can use in your presentation, Chribba... "Reasons why public API's should return error codes" P
