As for the rest.....

Honestly under 1bil and growth is easy. Over 500bil and growth is a bit more difficult. And really the most difficult part of dealing with really big trading is that recurring feeling that you just can't be arsed to do it for less than a couple bil unless it's for the giggles.

good for you but you started with zero just like everyone else, stop thinking you're better just because you have more isk from sitting in jita pushing items around on a screen, it is a no brainer, the game actually tells you everything if you look... People who have amassed billions from other creative means *cough*, earn much more respect from me.

We werent looking for your respect, we wanted to taste your tears. and you were a fine candidate from your first post here.
And still you have been found wanting...

Yeah and I cry myself to sleep every night Roll, grow up please... Your words aren't even an iota to some of the horrors i've seen in my life.

You think you're so smart because you can copy paste the same 'not funny' quotes over and over again towards anyone who does not agree with you, then you stroke your self over the illusionary vision you have in that crazy head of yours.

same as what i do.

if iv got a stack and the prices get progressively lower to the point where its no longer profitable for me to trade it then ill remove the stack, place that item on my watch list then check it every few days.

all items i've been doing this for come back around to my liked profit levels eventually. may take a day or a week but they get there and then i put up the sell order again.

Why unlist your stack??? You've lost your listing fees. The only reason to unlist is to free capital, but if you expect a spike, you're better off leaving it listed for later.

reason for that is im not very far into my trade skills, although i do have the bare mins at V, im lacking in the amount of orders i can put up (50+ atm). so for an item that isnt moving its betta for me to unlist and get a new item rollin.

I love getting EvE mails by traders whining about how I was wrecking their margins. Totally hilarious. Its happened to me several times. Little gems like that totally justify my pricing strategies.

Is that a competition? where do i register as a winner?

You seem to think everyone buys stuff at your price. when im fact i bought it 2 weeks ago for half the price, what now?

you also think you are amazing, and the fact that you talk about achivments like earning 454mil and hauling stacks in BR, just proves you are dealing with nickels and dimes. you aren't worth explaining to you where you are wrong.

Arabella, you are officially my favorite person in eve that I don't trust at all. I agree with about 49% of what you say, which is a lot more than average, and you are snarky as hell. Kudos.

I find its a little easier and less stressful when first starting out with a low amount of orders to only trade in items which are both sold to buy orders and bought from sell orders at more or less equal amounts, also the item should be selling in the thousands per day with plenty of orders. All this can be checked on the market history graph and table, it does not matter if the margins are small because the volume makes up for it.

LOL, Whatever. Your all idiots, no one here is doing anything in any market, that's going to "upset me" and stop my trader character from making a maximum profit in a way that takes the least amount of my time away from playing my main character, without cheating. I run a tight board, I only trade in about 50 orders, I make 2 or 3 bil a month, only takes a small amount of my playing time, and I don't cheat and don't see a need for it. Anyone trading that wants to put the effort in to screwing with someone from making ISK on a product they want to control isn't trading to make ISK. I guarantee you while your playing games I'm making more ISK. Go ahead and tell me how you make 10 times a month than me, but "whats the point" either your cheating or your consumed with trading and not really playing the game

Trading is not part of the game?

Then what do you do?

You don't have to overbid a buy order that does not compete with you, especially if you are trading in a major hub and another buy order appears in a different system at a limited range.

Example:

Step 1: Jak has a Jita buy order for Item A at 50 isk, range = jita 4,4 station.

Step 2: Sam places a bid for same item in Osmon at 70 isk, range = Caldari Navy station in Osmon.

Step 3: Stupid Jak who updates his orders compulsively every 6 minutes feels the urge to overbid Sam and updates to 70.01.

Now all Jita starts bidding over 70.01 and we can hope to return to the 50isk mark 20-30 days later.

EVE is infested with idiot Jaks, trader wannabees.

Amateur traders need to learn 101 basics before investing their hardly earned money in this profession. It is not just about blindly updating orders.

This screenshot is almost a snapshot of what I'm talking about but it is not a fair representation since the difference is only 0.01 isk between the 2 orders and not as high as 40% as in my example. But the 40% jump happens a lot with the same kind of mentality portrayed here.

EDIT: You know what, just ignore the screenshot. It is not a fair representation and it undermines my claim.

Hi! I'm a big bad trader. My Trade-peen requires a freighter to move. I quadruplicated all of everyone's ISK in five minutes. Ha ha, whatever, I am winning and am superior trader and trolling you. And tears. Or something.

So, I'm a successful station trader making about 2 bil a month.

I love station trading as it brings in the iskies, but there is one part about it that I can't stand,
The IDIOT station traders who try to strong-arm the market to sell/buy an item quicker who really are destroying the profits on the market.

Here's my message to you:

STRONG-ARMING THE MARKET DOESN'T WORK. SOMEONE IS JUST GOING TO BUY/SELL IT MORE MORE/LESS BY 0.01 ISK. AND IN THE END, YOU'RE JUST DESTORYING THE PROFIT FOR OTHER PEOPLE.

Its called "Hit and Run".

The way the system is, makes this one of the best known annoyances in Market trading, there is no way around it < make note of corp name.
