Hello just a fun thought

Whilst there is a massive universe out there and thousands of stations with billions of people. Why no passenger ships Missions or storylines.

Imagine this A galactic cruise liner full of passengers being transported to recolonize some minmatter world or a shipment of merc,s being taken to Tidacha ready for dropping planet side.

Or even a few capsuleers clones in stasis being transported out of unfriendly territory.

As hauler eve pilots can now have a ship to transport almost anything BUT why no People when there has to be so many in this vast universe. It seems to me they have been ignored along with the ship crews.

BTW I am a bus driver and a ship full of nagging blue rinses would make my day CHEERS Tickets Please ;-)

There are Missions for passengers but not exclusively: Check Courier Missions out from Agents.

This is a good one.. +1

People will want to migrate to different locations, go on holidays, etc... DUST mercs will want to visit casinos and other forms of entertainment in various places before installing jump clones at those locations.

The entertainment industry is something that could become a massive part of this game over time.

So I call for:

- Cruise ships for holidays with station capabilities but allow only docking of shuttles. These are capital ships able to travel cloaked by using star gates. Revenue is gained by controlling the ship environment, like a mini simcity or business tycoon type of minigame. The same can be used for stations as well.

- Similar ships to the above but smaller size and just for transport purposes with dedicate CQs for first class tickets and storage bay. Typical transport will be 20-30 jumps just like train lines and will be working on fixed routes.

The whole would come with a market place for buying and reselling tickets or maybe a ticket office in all stations. The ticket office works like an agent.

Even listed on the Evelopedia as passengers

Jint Hikaru - Miner / Salvager / Explorer / SpaceBum In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

From a lore perspective the biggest issue I have with this is how the hell would a group of people living, even on the most prosperous station, find the money to pay a capsuleer to move them around? If they have that kind of money they're going to opt for a more luxurious form of transport, unless they expect to be attacked in-route in which case we might be called in but there are already missions similar to that.

This is far more the sort of thing that those NPC haulers we see around everywhere would be used for. Capsuleers are generally only contracted for dangerous or sensitive missions, or ones where it would be problematic or less practical to hire someone else.

If you notice from the missions we tend to be given stuff that needs to be done ASAP or requires contact with pirates. There's the odd level 1 mission where we're hired as, say, a stunt pilot in a shuttle but even that's worth something to the company paying us and it builds their relations with a powerful individual.

Passenger liners would really help build up my frozen corpse collection.

Gate campers are just Carebears with anger issues.
