5 more days,

I'd say white glaze will hit a million a block, your estimation of this catastrophic situation?

Those that can mine will make more money.
Those who bought tons of ice when it was cheap will profit.
People who only ever sit in the same ice belt in highsec will complain heavily about how "unfair" it is while doing nothing to attempt to counter the situation.

I have been mining ice for days now and have only seen one gank attempt on another miner which was a colossal failure. So I say to you what interdiction? If anything just the threat drove the ice prices up and we all stand to profit in the short term.

--- BREAKING NEWS ---

MITTANIGRAD, Deklein - Miners all over highsec are in shock at the latest news coming straight from TheMittani.com (TMC) wherein it was stated that the CFC (Clusterfuck Coalition) were going to "interdict Caldari ice products" leading to massive panic on the markets and the highsec community.

"im an honest miner.why must they gank?" cried a miner who wanted to remain anonymous out of fear of being ganked, to no avail, as many miners in ice belts will have to fear the loss of their ships due to increased "Goon" activity in highsec ice belts after the Fountain Moon War against TEST had been completed.

What is the main worry of the industrialists so far? That prices for Caldari fuel blocks will rise. Realistically speaking high security fuel use of isotopes on a capital scale will be unchanged, but most high security industrialists worry for their precious fuel blocks. As we speak traders are hoarding their ice and ice by-products in the prospect of gaining a quick buck on rising prices.

Some worry that the rising prices will be a longer problem due to moon changes in Fountain with the new update. Others believe that the CFC will not pull through on their threat and are simply fear-mongering to influence price fluctuations and cahs out on it themselves, as they can supposedly mine with impudence in their rich zero security areas. As one Market Discussion forum-goer said "They don't have to stock up because they are the suppliers. All they have to do is not sell their stuff."

You might find that is because it hasn't started yet. This interdiction may be harder then some of the previous due to the mining barge/exhumer changes. The procurer is quite a decent tank for not a lot of ISK

Yet most will be mining in fail tanked Retrievers and Mackinaws, because fitting a proper tank requires the loss of an MLU, and using a Skiff or Procurer actually requires you to play the game.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Less than catastrophic.
But it should be catastrophic!
The more catastrophic, the better, because that'll mean more miners get
killed, prices rise higher, more whining will occur, etc etc

No ? :/

CCP need to look at the whole POS issue. Having a single race's tower (Caldari) have such an advantage for complex reactions in terms of CPU need, is really dumb. By hitting Caldari fuel, Goons are hitting all T2 production, including moon goo processing in every other area of Eve perhaps except their own.

The idea that this is about block prices only is laughable. They're just exploiting a CCP POS stupidity for their own gain.

This reminds me of the time I was still mining myself. Hulkageddon was upon us and I docked up me exhumers and went out in my noobship to annoy goonies.

After a while I entered a belt where a mining fleet was happily mining away with their Orca support. Everything optimized for max yield. I convo'd them and told them about Hulkageddon, they were not impressed and simply stated:"If we lose our ships, we have plenty of isk to replace it all.".

That seems to be the mindset of a lot of the miners apparently. And I can't blame them, the chance of getting ganked during Hulkageddon or interdictions like this might be 10 times as high as normal, it's still a very small chance.

Of course. But neither a slight price adjustment in Caldari ice products nor the death of a few miners qualify as catastrophic, and the whinging will just be a high-pitched keening noise that won't be of any real consequence either.

So meh.

In three months, the cheapest source of nitrogen will be found in VFK. Prices will vary between 350k and 600k a unit for white glaze. Any higher and substitution becomes too attractive.

The price of tears will be at an all time low and plenty of ships will have been exploded. Procurer price breaks 15mil mark.

Oh I expect more than that. It will be interesting to see what arguments they come up with this time to stop us.

"A few" miners? So Goons, with their hundreds of catalysts roaming around will gank 2-3 macks and go home, prices won't change at all? DOn't know about that.....
