Whats a fair "donation" for ice compression?

Ive been hiring rorqual pilots here and there to compress my ice for me, in nullsec, but am unsure of how the mechanic works ie: whether the compression module requires fuel etc.

What's a fair amount of ISK to give? Is 30mil for 1500 units compressed too low?

It depends completely on who you ask.

Something that annoyed me was that people would not even take the time to say thank you even tho between work and other real life stuff i had no time to do anything else when i logged on since people had stockpiled ore and ice that needed to get compressed.

Optimally i would have appreciated it if they said either thank you, or covered the cost of fuel that was needed to compress stuff. Its small things but as long as the person shows that they are not taking it for granted it feels "right".

But thats just me, other might expect donations or just have a fee based on hours or amounts.
Your best bet is to ask the person what they would prefer.
