Small Shield Extender - Most Worthless Module?

If your fit needs a small shield extender, then your fit is bad. Seriously, when is the last time a small shield extender was actually a good thing in a fit?

All I ever see small shield extenders on are fail fit cormorants and terrifyingly misfit battleships.

Whenever you need a small shield extender, it only takes a little effort to refit for a medium shield extender and get a significant tank increase.

CCP needs to buff the small shield extender to make it actually worth fitting.

2 power grid, or 28 power grid, this is just a slight change to your fight.

Good lord, lets hope OP doesn't discover micro shield extenders

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

Not unlike brass hammers, SSEs have uses.

For the T1 versions and comparing shield bonus to armor:

mSE = 50mm plates
SSE = 100mm plates
MSE = 400mm plates
LSE > 800mm plates (but much less than 1600mm)

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

SSEs have their uses. I haven't really seen 50mm platings in anything worthwile though - same for micro-extenders.
