A buddy has been having trouble for the last 12 hours or so trying to access anything eveonline.com related (including TQ). I''m posting on his behalf as the forums are also pretty much unusable.

He's taken a traceroute to the known TQ ip, and found that a few level3 hops in Dallas and London are dropping 15 and 25% of the packets, respectively.

Here's a Trace of the connection he's sent me, and has continued to run this tool and noticed that it's still around 10-20% after 200 packets sent.

Anyone else got these problems?

I made it to the forums! Yes the issue is me, here's an updated shot with more trials. The level3 hops with problems fluctuate between ~20-25%, CCP tends to hover in the 10-15% range. I am unable to reliably launch Eve, most times it just hangs on the "entering game as.." part of the process. In the few instances I make it in, in-game windows don't populate or update and the two times I actually got to undock it was incredibly laggy/warpy (as in the MP sense, not eve-warp sense). I last maybe 10 mins after making it that far before TQ/socket fails.

Problem resolved. From my end it looks like Level3 had a router with problems. A friend and I were watching MTR as the routes were finally changed, 18 hours later..., and now 0% packet loss. I still see a huge latency increase starting with Dallas1.Level3.net, but it's nothing I'm going to loose sleep over, just glad to have things working.
