You do understand that it takes 10 hours for the character to arrive in your slot. Plus as soon as the character is transferred the original owner can't post on that toon anymore. So he/she probably doesn't even know you "think" there is an issue.

Try and wait more then ten hours. Then see if there is a problem.

10 hours may be true

But if you login into the eve account website you can verify that a character is being transferred to your account, it tells you instantly once they start the transfer.

He said he would start it immediately and still nothing has been started

EDIT: and yes you can still post on the forums with the character you sold for the next couple of hours - I have done it
