CCP Fozzie: Live Interview on Eve Radio 00:00-0200 GMT Tonight

With Odyssey 1.1 update announcements rolling in at almost a daily rate right now, I've been spending some time trying to grab various CCP Devs to discuss these changes, and gather feedback to foster live discussions. Last week I was joined by CCP Rise, and spent nearly 2 hours talking with him about ATXI, CREST replays, medium guns, and HAC re-balancing. It was a great discussion, and we were able to cover the topics in a depth that's not possible through forum postings and dev blogs alone.

This week, CCP Fozzie will have the hot seat while we discuss upcoming changes to command ships, and the first step of what looks to be a massive upcoming change in fleet boosting. Both topics are pretty hot right now and this could be your chance to get in on the discussion live. We'll be taking questions throughout the 2-hour broadcast this evening.

Relevant questions, comments, and concerns can be submitted either in the comments on this thread, or through in-game eve-mail to me. Other ways to interact will be through the Eve-Radio in game channel, channel #eve-radio on irc.coldfront.net, or by tweeting to @CCP_Fozzie and @FunkyBacon on twitter.

When can we expect a bit more disclosure about the BIG industry expansion that has been hinted about in many threads?

Also will tools like the one released for the ATXI be something we will see a lot more of from CCP, and are there any ideas of improving the IGB for more specialized and EVE / Crest / SSO features?

When will we see a torpedo buff? They are now overshadowed by the improved cruise missiles, similar to how the HAM used to be only marginally better than the Heavy Missile before the Heavy Missile nerf.

For the record the HAM used to have slightly more DPS at a significantly shorter range.

Things are only impossible until they are not.

Why are you making command ships damage focused, when they are never fitted for damage because they lack HP and need to be fit with tank mods. How are you going to solve command ships getting volleyed straight off the field.

Moving into looking at moving Boosts on grid, or a reason to have boosts on grid. Is fozzie aware of the essentially impossible task of Tanking a boosting tengu, and making most t3's able to be on grid while boosting.

And if there's time, Looking into the next rebalance, is he aware of how terrible Marauders are outside of Level 4's and is he planning to change this, or are they essentially going to stay a highsec mission ship.

Edit: And any plans on actually getting Mining links outside of pos, That's kind of Annoying.

Okay - rushed reply because I hoped to sneak another one in, so another edit:

Most people aren't aware of it, but there's a bonus for link-fitting on carriers and SCs as well - so if you're scared to lose CS on grid due to alpha, just use an Aeon or Titan (not much else they're useful for anymore either way)

They're hardly used that way, because an OGB is practically invulnerable if the pilot isn't asleep whilst offering better bonuses than SCs (not Titans) - so are there any intentions to give Carriers SCs additional bonuses for blob fights?

Are there plans for link-destroyers for small gangs? (should be boosting AFs for real survibailty, 'cause anything the sig of a Dessie will be volleyed of the field in an instant) or anything to boost small gangs?

What about the current meta with overproportionally increasing returns with bigger numbers and exponentially decreasing risk at the same time, whilst it should be the other way around?

Any Plans to do anything about that, ever?

Do you still make your balancing decisions based on orders to fit planet-sized DRAEKS and make them fly straight into tracking titan fleets with an activated MWD and without any transversal by certain alliances to 'prove' they're OP?
