I apologize now for not doing a forum search because I am sure the answer is already on here. The reason is my internet is ******** and gives me an error if i try to forum search right now...

Anyways my question is how long it takes to bash a POCO or interbus office? I have heard you need at least 500dps but it is better to have over 3k dps. I have never really seen a how long it takes with that much dps to smash them.

Really if someone could tell me how long it would take 1 dread with T1 siege that would work too.

as far as i remember we needed 1-2 siege cycles with 2 dreads (one of them was Moros with 10k DPS) and couple of assorted ships (<10 ships in total) to kill one INTERBUS customs. Cannot speak about player owned POCOs

It took me just over 2 hours to kill each Interbus CO in my w-system ... that was 2 x blap machariels and a tengu iirc. It was a protracted and tedious affair and it took me a week to remove them all.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

You can realistically 1 Cycle then with 3 decent Dreads and a couple of Carriers with fighters from what I remember.

A medium-small talos fleet will melt them. I think we had about 20-25 in fleet (including scouts/booster/etc) and killed in in < 10 min.

Thanks for the answers guys. Based on what I am hearing and the numbers are telling me. I need to find a bunch of friends, or hire a merc corp, or something more than just me and my alts trying to bash it. I don't really feel like sitting somewhere for over an hour.

If you want to single cycle a Customs office with dreads you're looking at a minimum of 3 moros or 4-5 other dreads, assuming t2 siege and appropriate damage fittings.

Subcap wise Attack BCs or Bombers are generally best. The BCs get the job done faster, approx twice the dps per ship over the bombers, but the bombers are cheaper and have a lot more GTFO options if things get hairy.

Ammo cost should be factored in this. Might be actually smart to afk it with an ogre Dominix/Geddon overnight with nothing but drone damage mods fitted.

Saves time, success probability depends on system, failure cost is on par with regular bash ammo costs for some fleet types.

Set the bs on orbit so it drifts out of grid after successful afk bash, should make it a bit safer for extended afk.

Without taking into account for the natural regen of the POCO, if you have 10k DPS in your fleet, it will take 12.5 minutes to reinforce it.

Has anyone run the numbers on the peak shield regen of structures like POCOs, POSes, and i-hubs? That's got to be the floor on how much effective DPS you need to bring, and I'm pretty sure there isn't a ship out there that can throw that much damage solo (except perhaps a Titan, but there are probably a dozen reasons not to doomsday a structure).

Its not very much passive regen, I think most BCs would break it with ease. Titans don't actually do that much dps, around 2/3rds of the equivalent dread if you dps fit them (not sure why you would now they can't blap), with a normal fit its probably less than half the dps of a dread. Only 1 reason why you can't doomsday a structure and that it is because it is not a capital.

10-15 Taloses will knock over a POCO in about a quarter of an hour.

Not sure why you would want to try and solo one though. It's possible but it's almost like you've tried to get your boredom fix in sov nullsec but now you're looking for an even stronger form of tedium (if that's possible).

Did a POCO solo once in an Torp CNR, took just over 2 hours.

I used two domies with gardes and mega pulses. Took about 45 min each to reinforce.
