Jack Chapman, this is no a scam. I have a RL job as a programmer, and I have a background with online stock exchanges from Second Life. I have NO reason to scam users. The stock exchanges DOES charge a fee for stock selling and lottery wins. *Look at website for exchange fees.

This is a asset to the Eve Community, there are some serious users wanting to trade on Eve.

* We do NOT exchange ISK for any outside currency, or any RL currency to ISK *

Have you actually checked with GMs whether asking for RL name & identification for an eve-related service is EULA-compliant?

This is supposed to make us feel warm and fuzzy? I have been in Second Life for nine years and cannot come up with one market that didn't end in tears.

Hello,

- First of all we have BSAC that is a several years old exchange and I dare say it's at least as legit as yours.
We also had others including my own VEMEX and all of our exchanges transacted tens or hundreds billions as legitimately as it can be.

- Second, if I am not wrong, 2% on sell orders is more than what the game charges. Considering the tutorial shows shares on minerals, it should be more competitive than the zero risk regular market.

- Third, there's a typo on the tutorial.

- Fourth: charts. Where are they?

- Fifth: it's not easy to be trusted in EvE. Operations popping out of nowhere like mushrooms tend to have an hard time getting trusted. You should have updated this forum all the way while coding the exchange, today you'd not look like a fish out of water in here.

Thank you all users that have commented,

Vaerah Vahrokha, A good website makes a good tool for stock exchanges. Thats what I didn't see in stock exchanges for Eve. Second Life, yes, Stock Exchanges have gone under, and I did loose money from ACE exchange going down. =( BUt in Second Life, look at SLCAPEX, For some reason, that is still going strong.

Some users DO want to make a legit system for users. Not everything is a scam, and I know Eve is FILLED with scams, It seems like CCP promotes scams. -_- I am not a scam, and I've done many, many withdrawals to users. All withdrawals have a transaction ID number to verify I sent it.

BSAC doesn't charge anything for transactions. It has been around a lot longer and has built up a successful reputation. It can also act as a third party collateral holder. Given that, why would anyone use your service?

How are withdrawals automated? Unless you violate the EULA, the only way to transfer ISK from one Character/corp to another is by manually doing it.

The thing about BSAC, is that it's an embarrassment to web design, and creating a successful, and ADVANCED trading ground requires many options for traders, and CEO's. Charging a fee is the only way to keep a long term stock exchange. Withdrawals are not "automated" 100%, we do submit all withdrawals manually but the website checks the API and gets the transaction number and validates it with the withdrawal request.

Basically, BSAC is not as advanced as it looks. Look at the charts on EveStockExchange.com, you'll be able to trade like it's RL. We are respecting all EULA from EVE Online.

I have been running the BSAC Stock Exchange for four years without charging any fees and we offer the same basic functionality. Additional information can be found in our website: http://www.bsacse.amxg4.com

Rhivre, if you create an account and click on any corporation or material, you'll find a very nice chart.

Block Ukx, I'm sorry that BSAC is so basic it looks like something from 1997. If you wish to create our own forum, please do. You now have competition for a better and more advance stock exchange program on Eve Online. BSAC's website is also in a subdomain, not very professional in my book.

The BSAC website is very functional. It just works. Adding a bunch of fancy things doesn't necessarily make for a better website. Especially if one needs to pay for it. I don't find the design of the BSAC to be that bad.

Charging a fee does nothing to guarantee a stock exchange will be around for a long time. Your competition is free and been around for years. Proof alone that payment means nothing for long term success. Since you have no track record for me to base anything on and knowing how often things like this disappear in Eve or end up as scams, I just assume you won't be around very long at all.

You didn't do yourself any favors by revealing your rl identity as it seems to be exactly in line with the first impression your stock exchange makes: bullshit meter off the charts (" Programming the future of Tomorrow using the bleeding edge of the freshest technologies" as a job description, really?), a shady history (so many people claiming to have been scammed by Pizbi), complexity without substance (you are working for a "MEDIA+TECHNOLOGY company hybrid that unites immersive social communities with next-generation human UI" with 5 divisions where every single employee holds a CXO, VP or "Lead whateverthefuck" title but which doesn't have a single discernible product), ...

I like to deal with people who call a headshop a headshop instead of making up some bullshit about "[selling] Interesting glass products", who call a failure/scam a scam instead of giving a spiel about having been "forced to discontinue due to credit card processing" and who prefer 5 minutes of thinking and a forum search or two over writing up 7(!) pages of pseudo-legalese "rules" that have a net effect of nil.

Just get out of here.

Someone who is familiar with Second Life should look into the dealings of that Ono Shelman/Bagz Zapedzki persona and his/her exact relationship with OP.
