This is one f-ing awesome and somewhat sad documentary.

F-ing awesome as it demonstrates how mankind and animal kind can coexist and work together.

Somewhat sad as it also shows how easily mankind can disrupt the cycle.

Killer whales (Cruisers) and Aboriginal and European whalers (Frigates) in Two Fold Bay SE Australia assist each other in the hunt of Baleen whales (Battle Cruisers).

...Did you just slap some shiptype names in your post to try and get away with a *SAVE THE WHALES!* post on GD? :/

BoBwins Law: As a discussion/war between two large nullsec entities grows longer, the probability of one comparing the other to BoB aproaches near certainty.

Lisa: Nuke the whales?

Nelson: Yep. Gotta nuke something.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Indeed. Everyone knows you shave the Welsh.

Isn't it a bit mean to just remove their excuse for going after the sheep in one fell swoop like that?

I mean, “she looked like the lass from the supermarket, so I just went for it” doesn't really fly if she no longer has the fur that would otherwise warrant that kind of confusion.

I miss posted this originally Ugh

But seriously, this is not a save the whales thread. It truly is an awesome story of how Orcas would coral Baleen whales into a Bay in SE Australia and then alert the aborigines, later the British settlers, that lived along the shore. The humans would then set out in their whaling boats and the Orcas and the whalers would cooperate in killing a whale. The whalers would anchor the baleen whale's body over night and the Orcas would eat the tongue and leave the rest of the body for the humans.
