Few ideas for destruction aesthetics

I don't know if other might also want something more than fiery explosions leaving twisted metal once a ship blows up so I thought I'd type some random ideas that might add more glitter to the game. Probably most of these things even when implemented will likely go unnoticed since why would you go looking for tiny explosions and little men drifting off into space when you're preoccupied in trying to shoot the next target? Anyway these probably might not happen so just enjoy thinking of what if situations.

- Escape Pods for Crew Members

I don't think crew members in a pod ship just expect to roll over and die when their ship is being carved a new face with deadly weaponry. In big ships like cruiser or higher sized ships could have little escape pods from the sides of the ship and ejecting into space. I was thinking these things might happen when the ship is nearing its death like at 10-50% of a ship's structural hull, non-essential crew members start ejecting out of the ship.

Then the other question is what about crew members still left in a ship. Will the capsuleer just ditch his fellow seamen to die in the sea? Maybe they'll be some who are lucky enough to be jettisoned out of the ship before it explodes for others to loot and... sell...

- Breaking ship

My most ideal way a ship might break apart in space is its armour plates being torn out in large chunks being flung into space whilst small men who were unlucky to be in the place where the hull was breached would be sucked into vacuum of space. Maybe when armour starts getting hit the ship appears to have bits of itself dissociating from the main body. Also when armour reaches around 25% crew members start to leak out of the cracks in the armour, or maybe smoke billows out.

When the ship finally blows up it shouldn't go up in a mighty omnidirectional flame. It should go out like a candle, poof, but then I have to admit epic explosions are cool. Also maybe the wreckage should resemble something very similar to the ship it once was, only that it's broken in two like the titanic. I know some very large ships have some special wreckage models and I think someone had a very similar idea too.

- Broken stick

When guns break from overheating maybe they should fizzle out with some smoke. Small idea, but it might be useful to find out if enemy burnt out his guns.

- Removing garbage

When wreckage is salvaged they just happen to get compressed into salvage goods or into nothing. The suggestion being put forward is that wreckage like I've mentioned in 'breaking ship' section should not be removed, as in the model. Instead it stays their until no players are in grid with the wreckage or after a period of time they're removed like all magical things in eve.

A few problems.
- there's a finite number of crew
- fires don't happen in space
- alchemy only converts lead into gold not energy into metal plates
- someone must have posted something like the suggestions made here, ages ago
- these things require more code and animations and models and etc
- adds more burden on processing more detailed graphical stuff when zoomed in (might hinder gameplay)
- being tired, drunk and a little bored makes you type nonsense

Would anyone else want to see a bit more detailed destruction on ships?

More drama while getting killed is welcome \o/. +1

Also fire allready happens in space - get your ship down into hull and watch it flying around with a firy tail.
