To bring miners into low sector and null on solo endeavors I suggest that a Tech II variant of the Venture be built by CCP.

It would have the same attributes as the Venture except for the following areas:

Traits
Mining Frigate skill bonus per level:
5% cycle time bonus to mining crystal use of any type

Role Bonus:
65% bonus to mining yield and gas cloud harvesting
+1 warp core strength

Ore Bay of 7500 m/3

Two high slots x1 Turret

The ability to warp while cloaked

Two low slots and three rig slots with a calibration of 300.

The Little Yellow Mite T2 variant would be fun to mine with in low and null and would make a very exciting chase for recon, assault ships and interceptors.

Ship cost 5 million isk.

The venture is already cheap enough to be economical in low or null. I use them often so I don't see any need for this type of t2 variant.

Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction...

This is a case where having a t2 variant adds absolutely nothing to gameplay.

Theres no need for that ship because you could just use a regular Venture to do the exact same thing. Also the "stats" you posted are not correspondent to T2 ships. The truth is miners aren't ever gonna bother mining solo anywhere. I'm allowing myself to make a snide comment: miners and adventuring do not fit in the same sentence. No change to any ship is gonna change that. Finally don't forget the Skiff.

"Warp while cloaked"? - There's a module for that!
Also, it's a module-based ability, not a hull-based one.

It's worse than a normal venture; you know that, right?

And T2s don't get 3 rigs.

Priceless! You certainly don't disappoint, Dryson. Another fine example of a completely pointless change to the game.

Where to start. Well, this is worse than the current Venture. It allows 3 rigs which would make it the only T2 ship to allow that so yeah, no. It's not a cov ops ship so no to warping cloaked, unless it was a covert ops mining frigate. Simply no to being allowed to warp cloaked with a non cov ops cloak. Mines less than the Venture and has a slightly larger ore bay. Less WCS points? What?

The Venture is already a T2 ship. CCP only forgot to label it as such and make it as expensive as it should be.

Almost as bad as that T2 Orca suggestion, where it was a highsec Rorqual that did everything. Highsec mining support blap-dreads are a bad idea.

Anyway, T2 doesn't mean "better". T2 needs to have drawbacks. The Venture has no need for a T2 variant, especially one which is as OP as that.
