Maintained PHP/Python EVE API Libraries

Hi,

So I have a few ideas for web apps that I would like to write for my corp, and I'm new to the EVE API. I could write my own library in PHP or Python but experience has taught me that reinventing the wheel is a bad idea.

What PHP (preferably for ease of hosting) or Python libraries exist that are actively maintained?

Any suggestions? Or, if the web apps are simple enough should I just create them myself?
