Deciding which Militia to join for FW

A few friends looking at joining FW but we can't seem to decide on which militia to join.

Are there any benefits to joining a specific one?

We've contemplated Amarr as we have assets there and would grant access to Jita but we do have an alt corp that woul be capable of handling our market needs. So really just trying to figure out if there are any benefits to join one side of the other...as we are torn on where to go lol.

Oh also we want to focus more on Pew pew and combat

Have noticed there are way more Minmatar than Amarr and I think Minmatar is the largest and Amarr the smallest.

If you join the Amarr Militia you get to shoot me... which is a plus in anyone's book. Big smile

On a more serious note... not really. There is no real benefit to joining any particular faction's militia outside of what smexy equipment you can buy in the Militia Loyalty Point store... which will become more or less valuable depending on well each particular faction is doing in the overall war.

Hmm, so perhaps joining Amarr being smaller and i think losing the overall system fight would benefit in selling FW Store items?

Also I read someone saying Caldari Gallente there are less fights and more small gang stuff and 1v1s
While in Minmitar Amarr there are more fights an they tend to be bigger...anyone know if that is true??

Also Amarr is Organized and Caldari is disorganized in the overall unity as a militia.

Well maybe, if we join Amarr we will be sure to try and hunt you down...

TBH all the militias are bad. Very bad.

The thing to do is fly for the one who have the sexiest pilots!

So whichever one I am fly for! Lol

That is the Way, the Tao.

Well, the value of each faction's items go up in value as they lose tiers and they're not flooding the market with as many but that's because it's harder to make enough to purchase those items in order to sell them on the market. So it's a trade off.

As to what faction to join, every faction has both good and bad corps and people so it's really a matter of personal taste and what lp store items you most want. In regards to organization, I'd say the Gallente-Caldari warzone does have more organized groups imo.

The Minmatar-Amarr warzone has a reputation as being more of a large gang/fleet based combat area while the Gallente-Caldari warzone does have a reputation as being more solo/small-gang based area. Whether or not these reps are true...it depends. From roaming both areas on 2 characters, I can say that both warzones have both kinds of PvP. I have this one area of the Minmatar-Amarr warzone that I roam that routinely has tons of solo pilots and small-gangs coming through. One big difference you will run into though is frequency of fights if you're not in the right area. The Minmatar-Amarr warzone is quite a bit more concentrated than the Gallente-Caldari warzone so there's a larger amount of pilots in a smaller area.

The part about big/small gang fights in both warzonez are irellavant because there is plenty of both and sometimes none of each, dunno if that makes sence to you,but basicly in every faction is more or less the same things. Dissorganized miltia most of the times, limited fleets unless ur joining a corp/aliance,awoxing,farmers and so on.

The part about amarr Minnie is true, amarr is smaller minnows have more people and imo I can.t complain for lack of fights.

My advice to u is just pick a faction that u would like to fight for,the rest is more or less same sh!t...imo.

Just because i am blond does not make me stoopid !

Hmm, well thanks everyone that put in input...

Basically all the same, dont matter much except where you are and the Lp Store... thats cool then

Guess we'll have to just decide and join a side... we were thinking about forming a corp for it so guess we'll have to make some friends and allies so we dont go into it to blind lol

Depends what you wanna do in Milita.

If you wanna just farm for LP, then join Caldari and you will be with your kind.
If you wanna speak and behave french, then join Gallente and you will be with your kind.
If you wanna massacre everyone and talk about liberation, then join Minmatar and you will be with your kind.
If you wanna preach all day and talk dirty about slaves, then join Amarr and you will be with your kind.

It's actually the other way around. There are a large number of pirate gangs who roam in BCs, BS, T3, and drop capitals. So alot of corps, FW or not, try to fly in organized doctrines. Though, you can easily get your fair share of solos and small skirmishes. I've found that Minnie/Amarr tends to be more kitchen sink

As to which Faction has more PVP, a quick look at the FW window will show that Gallente consistently generates more kills per week than any of the other three factions.

High Five. Yeah! C'est La Eve .

more like

If you wanna be in the biggest blob fleets in the game join gallentee, and you will be with your kind
If you wanna preach all day and talk dirty to your kb and your multiple 'solo (t3 triple link ogb) cyno just encase' and fly only frigates, join minmatar, and you will be with your kind
If you wanna preach all day slay the unbelievers, massacre the heathens all in the name of the empress join amarr, and you will be with your kind

Hahaha

Well We have created a Corporation to Join the Amarr Militia, try our hand at being underdogs, and join the losing fight...

Which I guess works well since we want to pvp and not focus on farming, but I hear the isk is pretty good so we just keep that as a bonus.

To the other war-zone have fun.
To our new Militia mates, hopefully we made the right choice and we make something of ourselves lol
To our new enemies, we'll be seeing you

Unless of course your not in US tmz then...then we wont be...much....at all...probably...

I like your spirit, accepting the risk and going for the greater reward. Not to mention the best (looking at the very least) ship hulls and the honor of defending the greatest civilization New Eden has ever seen.

See you in the warzone.
