Stealth bomber

So I have never fit a stealth bomber and my plan is to follow my friend around and when he explores and hacks sites and kill players we find sometimes, mostly it is going to be other exploration ships I believe. But I noticed lots of nemesis fits have 2 warp scramblers, why is that? Would it not be better to have a web? Should I go for rockets or torpedos? Could I kill a frigate with torpedos if hes webbed?

I tried to get a MWD on but couldn't manage the PG, opinions?

Rigs, should i go with probe ones since I don't have the best probing skills or try for higher damage? Any help is appreciated.

PS. Hope I posted in the right section. Lol

you will not hit frigs with torpedos for any considerable amount of damage. double scrambler is used to counter warp stabs.

watch this for some fitting ideas:

Is warp stabs common on exploration ships? I see the fit in that video is fitted with that as well. Most frigs I will kill are going to be exploration ships just the same way that guy does it but sometimes I run into other somewhat bigger ships that are not possible to take down without some heavier punch. Will you still do **** damage on a frigate with 0 speed using torps? or a fleeing frigate with webs on him or such? Because if possible for what I plan to use it for I'd really like to have torps but if it's really no option I guess I better adapt. Never really used anything other than lasers before.

Thanks for taking your time to respond to me.

The issue torpedoes have against frigates and other small targets is that while they can deal lots of raw damage, they've got large explosion radii and slow explosion velocities - most of their damage gets wasted on empty space, and fast-moving ships can practically outrun the torpedo's shockwave. Even if a frigate is standing still, its signature radius will be less than the torpedo's explosion radius unless it's being hit by a target painter and/or it's got a microwarpdrive lit, so it'll only get hit by a fraction of the torpedo's damage.

When I've gone wandering in a stealth bomber, I'd often end up fitting a target painter to improve my torpedoes' performance, and sometimes my fifth high (aside from the torpedo launchers and the cloak) would have an autocannon to help with anti-tackle weaponry.

This was my old ratting fit, was able to kill frigs with it but it took a while. I would strongly advise you to have Guided Missile Precision and Target Navigation Prediction at V if your wanting to use torps on anything smaller than a BC. The slot 8 and 9 hardwires that apply to those two attributes are also a good idea.
