Sale Order Not Appearing

New player here. So when I go and place a buy order I can see it in the my orders tab and also in the buyers section on the market. But with the last sell order I made (can't remember if it did this with others I've made), I could see it in the my orders tab and it is 0.01 cheaper than the current cheapest in Jita, however when I look at the market my sell order is not there. So has it been made or not? Sorry if this is the wrong board.

Did you sort your Market by price?

^ that and it also needs a bit of time to update your buy/sell-order list. You can press the check market details button again to force an update.

Check your settings to see if you have the market set to highlight your orders.

Check your range settings.

make sure you didn't set up a buy order above sell orders, in that case the order gets completed immediately. if you had your ranges set up incorrectly perhaps you bought stuff from another station.

check your transaction journal, or your assets tab.

If this was the case, it wouldn't be hanging in the My orders tab.

I also would never play the .01 game you will lose quickly. If your looking to sell always undercut the others

that is a horrible idea, you just end up lowering the market price of an item and make less profit for yourself. 0.01 isk is always the way to go
